Bored to tears though. No driving and depression makes Mac something something.... Boredom sucks. :/ Dear Lord yes. I have to get off the meds I was taking BEFORE I can take anti-depressants. So until then, I have very little enjoyment in any of my hobbies. It takes alot to play video games now.
So sick of it.........

Where is Solnes? She hasn't been around much lately. She's working tonight. She's been feeling a little disconnected from FaWTL lately, says she doesn't feel as part of the gang when she post nowdays. That's silly, of course she is part of the gang, or mob, or whatever we are. ;) According to a couple of posters we're a clique that jumps on and beats up other Paizonians for their AP money. :P Hey! Where's my cut? Yeah, I'm still waiting for mine.
I wonder if anyone else stops and takes the time to note how much we disagree on things. (that being all of us on a variety of issues)
We're eclectic. Well, crap. Does that mean we can't be friends any more? Wait....
When did we all become friends?
Did I miss a post somewhere? ...perhaps it should be "family" instead.
That way no one would mistake any of us as friends. :P Damn straight. I dislike Things that live BEYOND the edge. I only like ones that live BEHIND the edge..... IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!!
:P

A box of Green Hornets and a Box of Conan Saga/Savage sword of Conan. A few hit and miss issues of various X -titles, Spider-man, superman, green lantern, and Batman. Hell I even have about 3 issues of a four issue Elongated-man comic. maybe 1/10 of what I had ever own. All of these are in poor condition as well, which makes it just sad. Purges???
On your own accord?

Aberzombie wrote: Mac Boyce wrote: Hold onto the Sandman's. Their value is only going to go up and up. You betcha. Sadly, however, I do not have the complete run. Got all the way into the World's End storyline when I stopped. Still, that is one of my all time favorites, right up there with 1988 four issue Martian Manhunter miniseries, Kingdom Come, Miller's Dark Knight series, and Batman: The Killing Joke. Pick up Wolverine: Old Man Logan if you can find it. I HATED Wolverine with a passion, but it was a damn good story that kinda brought me around.
Methinks CJ wants our comics. I'm not entirely sure about that though..
Aberzombie wrote: Mac Boyce wrote: Aberzombie wrote: I've actually been considering selling off some of my collection on Ebay or something. Maybe some of my old Marvel stuff..... O.O
Like what oh zombified one??? I've got some X-men, X-factor, etc mostly from right after the Inferno Storyline and continuing on up to a few years back (can't remember when I stopped with that stuff). I've also got some Avengers, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider (Danny Ketch), and other stuff. I've also got a pretty large chunk of the Marvel G.I.Joe.
I've got plenty of DC as well. JLA, JSA, Batman, Detective Comics, other Bat titles GL, DR. Fate, Flash (entire Wally West Run), Pretty much every New Gods series since Cosmic Odyssey, Fables, Sandman, Lucifer, a lot of one shots and specials.....
And I was into some of the Dark Horse Star Wars stuff for a while... Hold onto the Sandman's. Their value is only going to go up and up.

Naah, you don't have a problem. Now, if you had 20 or so long boxes, with multiple boxes for multiple characters or titles, then you might have a problem.
Uhhhh....
Yeah....

Have you tried....anywhere *ELSE* in New England? Oi! New Jersey and New York are only considered to be part of New England by people living elsewhere in the country. Neither actual New Englanders nor people who live in NJ or NY consider those states part of New England.
This message brought to you by Yankee snob... That's a new one on me. I'm from Vermont, fourth generation, and while I certainly don't care for either New York or New Jersey we definitely still count them... where are ya from?
Upstate NY. That's interesting that you found that in Vermont. I've never heard that from a New Englander. At least you're in the pretty part of the state.
So...Yankee's fan I suppose? *Skies begin growing dark*

Freehold DM wrote: Chris Mortika wrote: Alan Scott doesn't count because he was never contacted by the Guardians and made a member of the team. His lantern (and ring) are more similar to Earth 3's Power Ring: a mystical entity in the lantern looking for a symbiotic relationship with a human.
(In an '80s retcon, DC established that Alan's magic lantern was connected to the Guardians of the Universe, when the little blue guys decided (how? why?) to purge magic out of the universe and store it in a convenient lantern-shaped receptacle.
There are four Earth GLs because we have a primary (Hal) his secondary (Guy) a replacement for the secondary when Guy was injured (John) and then somebody from Earth when there were no other GLs (Kyle). They have all acted as exemplars of the Corps (except John when he made terrible mistakes, or Hal when he went crazy, or Guy pretty mch most of the time) so they've all been retained as a special case for Sector 2814.
You're forgetting the time Kyle was handing out GL rings willy nilly and ended up handing one to a space-hitler.
Yes, I just godwinned the thread. Because Kyle has....wait for it....HUMAN EMOTIONS. He's allowed to be wrong. Hal, John and Guy were never allowed to be wrong.
And besides, Kyle ended up kicking Space-Hitler's arse. I wonder why Magaan (yeah, that's the dude's name) never became a part of the Sinestro Corps?
Dr. Fate is a LORD OF ORDER. I think he beats the Sorcerer Supreme.

So we had to write a thesis for an argument that we would present in a paper (as practice) and we were given a sheet on it with facts on water. So I choose "human body is 75% water". And then proceeded to write about Dune and how the human body is an untapped water source....is it bad form to troll your teacher?
Nice.
