Hi,

I would appreciate if you could cancel my Starfinder Accessories Subscription as soon as is reasonably possible please.

Thanks

Hi there,

I just received an email regarding order #26821133 which should contain my Starfinder Adventure Path subscription (The Cradle Infestation) and a reshipping of a book which was unfortunately sent back (The Chimera Mystery) however the shipping email states that only the latter was shipped, were the products intentionally shipped separately or is this an error? Thanks in advance.

Okay as a bit of background for this, I'm currently running two Starfinder campaigns based around the idea of starting up a colony on a planet in the Vast, and in the process I've made a lot of notes and spent a lot of time reading through Pathfinder APs, the forums, and 3rd party stuff and I wanted to put everything I've discovered and learned into one big document. After spending a good few hours doing just that I decided that maybe I should share it for people who wanted to run similar campaigns but weren't sure how to go about it.

So with all that out of the way, here's my first draft: CLICK HERE.

It's still a very rough, no frills version and it's far from unfinished because it doesn't really have any content past what I would consider 'book 1' of a campaign, but it's a culmination of my observations and things I've learned. That being said I'd absolutely love to hear people's thoughts and feedback on the contents of this monstrosity I've created, and if you decide to actually use some of my advice I'd love to hear how it goes for you!

Hi all,
In the next month or so I'm going to be starting a sandbox campaign based around exploring and colonizing a planet in the Vast (Kingmaker style) and was wondering if any of you lovely folks had any experience, advice, or ideas to help make this thing awesome?

The current plan is to give the players a few different planet options during session zero and let them choose the one they like the sound of most, then I'll build the rest from there. I'm going to try and adapt Pathfinder's exploration rules for the sandbox stuff since that seems relatively straightforward. Beyond that I'm open to any and all suggestions from people who undoubtedly understand this game far better than I do.

Hi there,

As the title states it seems my SFS adventures haven't spawned yet despite being available for purchase. Is this an error?

Hi there! I'm a Starfinder Society subscriber and I've been trying to access #1-20 and #1-21 however an order does not seem to have been generated and I do not have pdf access, can someone give me more info on this?

Hi there, can you please cancel my campaign setting subscription?

Thanks in advance!

Want to start this post by saying that I know there's little to no information on this just yet, so this thread is more for speculation than anything else. I was thinking about the setting and I realised that the differences between the galaxy now and before the Gap is pretty huge, and this made me wonder how the other planes were effected. I imagine the First World is pretty different considering it's affected by the will of its inhabitants who are now much more advanced, and the elemental planes are probably more widely travelled with the abundance of technologies that allow people to cope better with the extreme conditions. How would this change the way creatures from these planes interact with those from the material plane? How would the physical appearance of those planes be affected? What happens if you try to go to the part of the First World/Shadow Plane that makes up the space where Golarion stood? I assume all portals connecting Golarion to those places are closed (or maybe not) but have those versions of the planet also disappeared? Would love to hear other people's thoughts on this.

I was going through some of the books in my spare time and had an idea for something I thought would be interesting to see in a book down the line. I think the classes we have now fill a good range of concepts, but something I think would be interesting that is currently quite difficult to create is a kind of 'primitive' class (or maybe archetype/subtype of soldier). They could take relatively large penalties to using complex technology like computers and ranged weapons without the archaic quality, but in exchange get to ignore the archaic quality on all weapons and gain bonuses to hit or extra damage dice while using unpowered melee weapons. They could also have skills/abilities for getting around their lack of tech skills such as 'hacking' a computer by punching a hole in it and pulling out wires. I imagine this being a barbarian equivalent class who represent the more primal side of the galaxy and are useful mainly because they're so physically powerful despite being undisciplined.

Of course the concept is far from perfect, I'm not claiming otherwise, but I think it could be an interesting idea. It would need a lot of fine tuning to balance, for example the concept makes any character difficult to slot into ship combat. I just thought I'd put it out there as it's been stewing in my brain for a little while and I thought it could potentially be an interesting discussion point about new classes.

This isn't so much of a discussion point as it is pointing out how much awesome stuff we're getting for a newly launched RPG! With the combination of the Core rulebook and First Contact on Free RPG Day, we're gonna have 17 playable races on launch as well as potentially more in the first volume of the AP. Not to mention we have other character options that are supposed to be available in the AP book meaning there's gonna be a ton of content to dig into! Compared to RPG releases like 5e this is loads of stuff and I'm super hyped! Since I should probably contribute some kind of discussion, what are you most excited to build/see when Starfinder is released?

I'm talking the races not included in the original core rulebook, as well as the planes outside of the Material Plane and now the Drift. Where are the Aasimar, Tieflings, or the Kitsune? Did they disappear with Golarion? What's the status of the elemental planes, Heaven, Hell, or the First World? I don't imagine they reacted too well to losing thousands of years of memory, and I seem to remember there being reference to Otherworldly fey in the First World Campaign Setting. It's something I'd be really interested to know and would love to hear other people's thoughts and ideas!

Been reading a lot about Starfinder lately and I've noticed that nobody has mentioned anything about anything to do with augmenting PCs or NPCs, so I thought I'd open the discussion myself. What do you want to see in regards to cybernetic enhancements within the Starfinder universe?

I for one am hoping that there will be a lot of options within the game to enhance your character and make them unique, what better way to make generic guns blazing soldier more unique and interesting than giving him a knife that comes out of his wrist or an extra set of arms? It can theoretically allow you to customise your character in infinite ways, though there would certainly have to be some form of drawback to prevent people from breaking the game. I doubt we'll see much in the way of augmentation stuff in the core rulebook as they have a lot of content to cover but I do hope we get some basic information that can be expanded on through further books and modules later on.

So yeah, now that I've got my excited ramblings out of the way, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
