Map

Behind the door, a short hallway leads to another open door. Beyond this is a large room.

Directly in front of you, in the hall, is a goblin, obviously one of the elites like the ones you faced in Ripnugget's throne room. He stands facing you, horsechopper pointed at you, ready to pounce. Behind him in the large room, there are several others, one of which is another commando ready to attack. Also in the room is a bugbear wielding a heavy flail, with bow and arrows ready to draw, glaring at Praxim in particular; you notice he wears a necklace made of elf ears around his neck. Finally, surrounding the bugbear are two scantily clad goblin females, both wielding dogslicers.

The bugbear growls loudly at the elf across room and hall. "I figured there was something going on when Ripnugget hadn't been heard from all night. I was hoping Shelalu had decided to come here, but killing you will be almost as satisfying."

Round 1

Rhianni inspires with her speech while Quinion advances on one of the commandos. His attacks misses.

"You didn't have permission to enter!" the warchief screeches. "Stickfoot!" Ripnugget beckons the gecko, and the animal turns and lowers its body, allowing Ripnugget to mount it. The goblin draws its dogslicer, perhaps the most well-made dogslicer you've seen. "Yes, my name is Ripnugget. You will find out why!"

You pick the lock and the door creaks open.

Map

This large throne room is decorated with hanging furs along its walls, mostly black and red-striped firepelt skins, various dog pelts, and in some cases, what look like horse hides. Four square timbers support the ceiling, their faces studded with dozens of iron spikes, with the lower reaches decorated with dozens of impaled and severed hands in various stages of decay. To the northeast, a wooden platform supports a throne heaped with dog pelts and horse hides. Dog skulls adorn the armrests and a horse skull leers over the throne's back.

Several goblins are in this room, all looking directly at you. One of the goblins sits on the throne, wearing a dented crown. Next to this goblin is a giant gecko equipped with bridle and saddle. Three of the goblins closest to you wield shortbows, loaded and aimed at you. A goblin on the far side of the room screams at you, "Stop there! You may not approach Warchief Ripnugget!"

Gnomes don't like you, either.
