Notes:

Lucca was raised as a temple child, learning the Laws that bound the world and kept it stable, learning how to protect the Crystals; but, a bit too clever at times, quickly left a strictly legal life when fortune beckoned. He found that greater secrets could be learned in the underbelly of the city, and made himself a small crew; he continued to pursue the supernatural, and profitable crimes were just a front. He was enjoying himself immensely until the [taint, curse, whatever] let something else into his best friend's head. Chasing after a cure, he found out just enough about it to save his friend, but also to know he couldn't let this drop if he wanted to. The idea to fix it just... grew on him; it was worrying, after they had barely been able to exorcise the thing from his friend's head. He left his friend, Nox, in charge of the tiny crew while he looks into these ominous breakdowns, and why he can't just leave it alone.

Now, during the time he's spent studying and chasing answers at the University, he is quite sure that the thing, which he's dubbed Loki, is speaking in his head, leading him on to something- probably something to do with the Crystals.
