(Female Human Rogue 2)

Lotus quickly retrieves her dagger from the dead goblin. Then steps back a bit to observe the others talking in goblin. You take it from here guys. I'm sure that you know better then I do. Now what did Pindara do just now? I must pay better attention to that.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Lotus moves further into the room and spins right to get a clear throw at the southern goblin facing Skittle. She pulls back her arm a short distance and with a quick move forward she let's go of her dagger. It spins through the air towards her goblin opponent. Her dagger flies (1d20+4=16, 1d4+2=6) true with a big impact in the chest of the distracted goblin.

Figured a 16 would hit the goblin. If not, then please adjust the description.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

With Skittle holding up two fingers the young woman assumes it is time for more action. She is quick to act (Initiative (1d20+4=21)) and immediately draws two of her daggers and readies them for action. She moves forward and to the left hand side of the corridor. This will give her a better angle to throw her daggers if needed.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Lotus hangs back to see how the team operates. When the issue of light comes to bear, she chimes in that she would relish a source for her to see. I too have that crappy human vision thing going on. Plus I'd rather see how you guys handle things first before I get into harms way.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

No I'm good.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

With eager hands the young woman goes through the mundane items, a wondrous look on her face. These items are worth a fortune to someone interested in archeological items. I estimate this collection to be worth about 500 gold crowns. I suggest we come back down here later to collect all of this and put it up for auction. We should be able to make a hefty profit. She continues to rummage through them until she finds an old amulet or other kind of jewlery. The glitter in her eyes can't be missed for anyone watching. She holds up the item to her body to see how it would fit. Once she has the perfect match she immediately puts it on her body as an accessory.

Lotus notices Indo staring intently at the various objects in the room (Perception DC 6 (1d20+5=15)). When he asks them to step away from the papers, she is intrigued. By all means, if your people have interest, be my guest.

Then she turns to Bedu and whispers. [b]Indeed he is keen. What was he doing? Can he see magic? Then in normal volume. The sarcophagus is worth only 50 gold crowns. But perhaps more to the one who owned it previously.

SargonX:

Spoiler:
I pocket the pouch and I'll go through it later.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Caught up in the moment and forgetting she is not alone Lotus is fascinated by the grave goods from various tombs and crypts be they mundane or broken. This is a treasure onto itself. There must be something of worth amonst these. Then there is the sarcophagus, staring at the beauty of this find Lotus appraises the mundane goods and the lone sarcophagus. (1d20+5=22, 1d20+5=10)

After taking what is valuable from amonst the archeological items she moves to pick up the belt pouch and after that to the papers on the barrel. These might be interesting bedtime reading. Lotus quickly scans the content of the papers to identify if they are of immediate use.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

So where does the map lead us? And how fast can we get there. Then before they leave Lotus uses her perception to search Samir's room. (1d20+3=20)

(Female Human Rogue 2)

What was that? And where did Samir go? Lotus cries when the skeleton explodes. While she waits for answers she quickly picks up her two thrown daggers.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Okay, tell me if I can't do this.

Lotus quietly admonishes herself for tossing a good dagger at the creature and missing. Concentrate! This is your chance to earn their trust. She sidesteps to get a good angle at the burning skeleton and grips another dagger from its holding place. With careful aim she lets go of it hoping that the sharp end will hit. She lets it fly, but again misses by a wide margin (1d20+2=7, 1d4+2=6).

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Seeing too many people in front of her to move in for a melee. A good thing I have the excuse of others in my way. I don't want to get close to that thing. Well, at least not from the front. Lotus quickly draws one of her daggers and throws it at the flaming skeleton.

Her thrown dagger (1d20+2=6, 1d4+2=6) misses by a mile.

Draw dagger = move action; Throw dagger = standard action

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Should I be posting a second action also?

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Initiative (1d20+4=14)
Lotus instinctively takes a step back and draws her short short. This can't be right.

Forgot to add my mods to the initiative roll. 5 ft step back and draw weapon.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Lotus looks to the others in the room as Bedu and Skittle move to the other room. When none of the others moves to follow, she shrugs and moves to the other room where Bedu and Skittle are talking to Samir.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Lotus nods with her head in acknowledgement from both Skittle and Liet. Well then. How are we faring?

(Female Human Rogue 2)

The woman scoffs at the barbers notion to not include her. You may not trust Amik and that is your right, perhaps you might even find me in agreement. However he does represent the Council. That Council has hired me for when you need one that has, how shall I put this delicately, good hand-eye coordination and has complete control of her body.

To emphasize her point she nimbly makes a cartwheel and somersault to come up behind the dwarf. She then whispers quietly into his ear. Like so... ending it with a quick kiss on his cheek.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Bedu the Barber wrote:
"What is so special about you, other than you can frighten mongooses?" asks the dwarf.

Lotus has never been questioned like that and can only reply with defiance. What's so special about you? After all, you are a barber! At least I have certain skills that can come in useful in a situation like this.

The young woman puts away her short sword and crosses her arms awaiting the group to continu with what they were doing. Well... how far did you get in the investigation?

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Still trying to pull free from Indo's grasp, she defiantly responds to the barber's query. Well obviously I followed you. Not like it was difficult with you making so much noise. And now of course you won't believe me. Well I'll show you. I have a letter from Amik proving that I am here to aid you on behalf of the council. She finally pulls free from Indo and grabs quickly within her pouches to produce a folded piece of parchment.

Here, you can read it yourself! she tells Bedu when she tosses the parchment to the fat barber.

don't make me do a strength check...

(Female Human Rogue 2)

Indo has pulled in a small teen-aged girl with black hair tied in a ponytail. Some hairs have come loose and hang slightly in her face. She wears tight clothing and has a leather armor wrapped around her torso, slightly hiding her budding womanly features.

The young woman, as she thinks of herself, tries to pull free from the big man holding her. Let go of me. Lotus wimpers to Indo when she doesn't have the strength to get away herself.

With her short short still in her hand you can see her eyes dart back and forth trying to take in the room and its occupants. When she spots the big dwarf she appears to think of something. You are the barber Bedu! she exclaims. Amik Shah sent me to help you in your job.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

SargonX

Spoiler:
Rattled by the ugly ass mongooses and the tunnels themselves, Lotus goes on the defensive. When she hears the cry that these creatures belong to someone she feels safety is near.

HELP ME!!! GET THESE CREATURES AWAY FROM ME. She cries in desperation.
//OOC Full Defensive

Spoiler:
Lotus had never been caught before, at least not by the law, and it was an experience she didn't like one bit. When Amik Shah came to her to offer a way out of punishment she took it with both hands. Who knows she thought, something good might come from it. Amik Shah talked about going into the jungle and that is where relics can be found. This incentive keeps her going as she crawls through the small passages. Losing her path nearly sent her over the edge, but fortunately she found the trail again.

Then dread overcomes (DC 10 Will save to overcome the lingering sense of unease. (1d20-1=3)) her as she approaches the plain wooden door.

I've got a bad feeling about this... she thinks as her eyes dart back and forth as if sensing approaching doom. Then she spots the shadows moving and quickly pulls out her sword in defense. Who's there? Lotus almost whispers.

Spoiler:
Lotus was recently apprehended by the city guard while engaging in some petty theft in the Khemair district of Muiu Thral. While awaiting sentencing, she was visited by a man named Amik Shah, an agent of the Khemair district council. He told her the following information:

"Recently, several nobles and merchants of Khemair's elite classes have been burned alive by magical flame. No one knows who is behind the attacks or why. When the fiery assassinations began, agents were dispatched into the jungle to investigate. Their hearts were sent back in a box – they had been turned to stone! A message was attached, by someone named Lady Medus, warning against sending further agents into the jungles.”

“A week ago, a tomb robber named Samir Kharsus stumbled out of the jungle, covered with frightful burns that covered his entire body. The knave has since disappeared, but he is believed to be somehow connected to the murders.”

Shah was tasked with finding some people to address the problem. He hired a group of adventurers, led by a fat dwarven barber named Bedu bin Bakandar, to find Kharsus and end the fiery magical attacks.

While he thinks these adventurers might well be able to handle the problem, Shah also wants someone on the "inside" to report back to him on their progress, let him now how the investigation is going, and so on.

So Shah offered Lotus a choice: work for him as his personal agent or face the full force of the city's law. Once this investigation is over, you will be free. It would be foolish to decline such an "offer," so you accepted and went in search of the adventurers.

Shah has provided you with a letter of introduction to be given to Bedu explaining that you are another adventurer hired by the council to assist in the investigation. You are to cooperate with the adventurers in their investigation, and you should NOT...

Lotus is ready to join. If I forgot anything in my "sheet" please let me know and I'll fix it.

(Female Human Rogue 2)

SargonX, please let me know how you wish me to start in the game.
