Intimidating: Half-orcs receive a +2 racial bonus on Intimidate checks due to their fearsome nature. Orc Ferocity: Once per day, when a half-orc is brought below 0 hit points but not killed, he can fight on for 1 more round as if disabled. At the end of his next turn, unless brought to above 0 hit points, he immediately falls unconscious and begins dying. Darkvision: Half-orcs can see in the dark up to 60 feet. Orc Blood: Half-orcs count as both humans and orcs for any effect related to race Marine Terror: A sea reaver can hold her breath for a number of rounds equal to four times her Constitution score. In addition, a sea reaver can move normally though squares of standing water or bog that is 1 foot deep. It does not cost her extra movement to traverse these terrains. Lastly, a sea reaver ignores the normal cover bonus to AC when attacking creatures that are partially immersed in water. Eyes of the Storm: At 2nd level, a sea reaver ignores any concealment provided by fog, rain, sleet, mist, wind, or other weather effects that is less than total concealment, and any penalties weather applies on Perception checks are halved. Rage Power: Spirit Totem, Lesser: While raging, the barbarian is surrounded by spirit wisps that harass her foes. These spirits make one slam attack each round against a living foe that is adjacent to the barbarian. This slam attack is made using the barbarian’s full base attack bonus, plus the barbarian’s Charisma modifier. The slam deals 1d4 points of negative energy damage, plus the barbarian’s Charisma modifier. Gear:

__________________________________________________ Background __________________________________________________ Logen's drunk father, Marcus, impregnated a female orc one day after losing a bet, then the bet going horribly wrong. Even though he's a hopeless drunk, Marcus took responsibility for Logen and raised him with love (when he wasn't drunk). Logen leans a little towards human society as he grew up with his human father, but always resented him for not letting him know more about his orc side. His greatest passions were sparring with his father and swimming in the nearby river. After Logen grew up, Marcus's alcohol abuse got much worse. Eventually Logen was taking care of him on a regular basis, and even had to take up a job as a bouncer at a local pub to keep money coming in. One day Marcus decided to visit Logen at work, drunk, and caused a huge scene. Logen had had enough and physically threw him out a window, breaking his arm and denouncing his father forever. Marcus only stared, then quietly left. Logen hasn't seen him since. Since then Logen has decided to pursue his love of the sea. He started out as a sailer, then when pirates attempted to raid him and he killed their captain he took over as Captain Baccus. He fell in love with pirating, and now is a scourge of the sea. More recently, Logen has had troubles sleeping. He feels achey, and always a little sick. Sometimes after raging he has to rest for several hours before feeling better. So now he's taken to land to search for someone who can help him. Appearance:
__________________________________________ Appearance __________________________________________ Not your typical half-orc, he flashes charming smiles as easily as his blade. As unpredictable as the weather, his eyes are always searching or boring through somebody. He stands about 6'8", and has a strong build. With his ashy grey-green skin, he blends seamlessly into the water. Has smooth if hard skin, and at his waist is a belt of daggers and a wickedly curved falchion which is hand is never far from. |
