Description:
Clad in a chain shirt with links of green and gold, and green and white garb, Lioslan has the typical golden-tinged hue to his skin that most of his kind do, and arresting golden eyes. His long white hair is held back from his face with a gold circlet braided into vines and leaves, and he proudly bears a curved elven sword at his hip and a composite longbow on his back.

While he is quick to smile, there is a faintly arrogant cast to the expression, and he carries himself with the knowledge that he does what is right. Not as quick to judge as many of his brethren, he is nevertheless biased toward Tel'Quessir culture.

Background:
For a gold elf, Lioslan's life has been tumultous. Born in the High Forest in the Year of Many Monsters, only two years later his House found themselves fighting for their lives as the Black Horde poured through the North. The House survived, as did Lioslan, though his parents did not; he was raised by his uncle, Yelsiel. Young though he was, he was a (small) part of the battle that retook Illusk, now Luskan. Uprooted by the Horde, always seeming to find trouble where they went, House Shaelara was at least blessed with fertility, and around a hundred of them finally made their way to Evermeet about a decade ago - where they promptly stirred up trouble rather than running into it. The other Houses whispered that House Shaelara must be filled to the brim with moon elf blood, with varying degrees of amusement and censure.

Lioslan is no different; while not exactly vocal about it thanks to Yelsiel's continuous pleading for tact, Lioslan is of the opinion that all gold elves should not carry the burden of guilt for what one did in the assassination of the King, and that the Retreat is a mistake - neither are popular opinions among the gold elves of Evermeet. A tad older than his peers, when he dug up what he believed to be the location of Hessalim, the armor of the ancient gold elf hero Galendrasel, he leapt at the chance to leave Leuthilspar and recover the artifact - and return to the North, which in his mind, the elves should never have abandoned.

racial trait gain a +1 racial bonus on Knowledge (nature)
and Survival checks. In forest terrain, these bonuses
improve to +2. This racial trait replaces elven magic.

Keen Senses: Elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception skill checks.

Weapon Familiarity: Elves are proficient with longbows (including composite longbows), longswords,
rapiers, and shortbows (including composite shortbows), and treat any weapon with the word “elven” in
its name as a martial weapon.

Languages: Elves begin play speaking Common and Elven. Elves with high Intelligence scores can choose
from the following: Celestial, Draconic, Gnoll, Gnome, Goblin, Orc, and Sylvan.
