Backstory brainstorm:

- Hated her parents
- Hates that she's an elf --> why
- Adopted the worship of a dwarven deity mostly as a way of sticking it to her parents, but also because elven culture annoys her --> It's too pompous and proper
- Tomboyish in her youth - rejection of the fancy aspects of elven culture. Manners, what manners?
- Born in Kyonin, quickly exiled as a result of her rejection of Elven culture --> needs a specific scenario of how this happened
- Traveled to the Five Kings Mountains where she pretended to be a dwarf, the fact that she wasn't very tall helped her cause
- Became obsessed with Grundinnar, the dwarven god of friendship and loyalty - epiphany that she should not have abandoned her family
- Epiphany that she's kind of a slob, must change her ways
- Returned to Kyonin - her mother was turned into a fox, and her father is dead at the hands of a forlorn mage gone rogue
- Brought her mother with her as a way of paying back her family

Backstory:

It was a beautiful day in Kyonin when Sayra gave birth to Linria. The child was welcomed into the elven community with open arms, and as she grew up, she took interest in the arcane - fitting given that her parents had surrounded themselves with other wizards and mages. But Linria always felt that she was different. She didn't care for manners, or following traditions or customs. Her father had pushed her to obey elven culture, and it was enough that she'd develop an ilduliel against him.

A celebratory dinner was held when Linria reached adolescence and she was gifted with a regal gown her mother insisted she'd wear. During the dinner, Linria shed the gown near the woods and ran off.

Over the next six years, she traveled southeast to the Five Kings' Mountains. Why did she have to hate dwarves? Maybe they had the answers. No - maybe it was the best way to stick it to Sayra and Edwyrd.

She disguised herself as a stocky dwarf, her short stature already helping with it, and ventured into Davarn.

She spent years there, made friends, learned all about dwarven culture, its celebrations, its fun, and its laxidasical attitude towards tradition, but most of all, she learned of the dwarven deity Grundinnar and what his teachings were. She looked up him, and as she learned more about him, she realized she could not ignore her family forever.

An ephiphany struck Linria one morning, and just like she had left Kyonin, she departed the Five Kings' Mountains and ventured back. With the assumption that she was exiled, Linria sneaked into Kyonin late one night, desperately looking for her parents.

It wasn't long before she found out her father had been slain three years ago, and her mother - her mother had become a fox when powerful magic was used to transform her and apply permanency to it.

She cried for days, overcome with guilt, and hugging the fox who wept with her. She felt horrible. And she decided that she'd never leave her mother again. No - she'd take her along as she ventured for Absalom to become a member of the Pathfinder Society.
