It's right here.
JSL Ancient was used in the three core books from 3.5 .

Gary and Ross are software devs, and their time is better spent doing that rather than policing the messageboards. There are a lot of threads though, and sometimes the offending stuff doesn't get flagged, or gets flagged days (or weeks, or months) after they've been posted. The definition of "offending stuff" can vary wildly from poster to poster too, and all of these little details have to be considered when deciding what to do with some posts. Moderating these boards is not easy, and treading the fine line between letting anything and everything be said and removing any negative posts is a tricksy path indeed.
Flag it and move on- don't feed the trolls...
I do think that some topics can be discussed without people resorting to making personal attacks. Unfortunately, I am an optimist.

I have a set of these dice, if anybody wants them. (First come, first serve, n' all that - I was looking to burn my GenCon volunteer credit. Also a set of Second Darkness and Curse of the Crimson Throne dice available.)
I usually ask the GM what kind of game s/he's going to run (genre, play style, etc.), inquire what the other players' characters are and go from there.
My little sister has a chicken named Cooper.
(And a couple of goats, a cat, a dog, a horse...)
Aureus wrote: I have linked it to the product page of Wayfinder #2 in the Paizo store, but don't have the contact information on the author. The article you want to translate should list an author for you. Let me know which one you're trying to get a hold of and email me (my address is in my profile).
Aureus wrote: Is it fine to translate wayfinder content and post it to a blog, of course with reference to source and author? I would contact the author first, but I don't see a problem with it as long as you link it back here. :)

Is your hate against AB more from what your roomies said...or a genuine dislike of AB's ego?
Half of the fun of Good Eats is applying what is being shown. If they didn't then they're missing out. Yeah, I'm a huge food science nerd. BAKING IS SCIENCE FOR HUNGRY PEOPLE n' all that.
I also prefer the earlier shows than the glitzier newer stuff.

Bass clarinet!
Huzzah!
Though I started out with a contra-alto clarinet. That thing was a b$@&~ to carry around though.
If the movie is half as good as the trailer is, I will be pleased.
Apologies for the name-mangling that may occur.

I get to help all you lovely people with order issues, rub the Magic 8 Ball to divine where international shipments got off to, and generally make myself useful out of the office. Note that "useful" may or may not apply to staring at the gorgeous printout of the Big Ass Map.
Not having enough time to play/run all the campaign ideas in my head.
Huzzah!
I am trying to recall if RPGXplorer did gestalt characters - I know they are one of the few that handled psionics.
Just checked, and it doesn't look like it handles gestalt. Alas.
Tessius wrote: what spec Lilith? I'm holy main and my GL seems to have gotten used to prot, we have a few ret floating around the guild too.
As for Hunter, I've never played one so I have no idea there.
I was playing prot-spec dwarven pally, but I haven't dusted that character off in a while. I don't recall what spec Fallengrace was. May have to check it out.
I am having fun with my orc hunter (marksmanship) in Dustwallow right now.
Happy Erik Mona Day!

W E Ray wrote: Baba Yaga actually sounds like it makes sense. In fact, I think I could House-Rule it even if any published text contradicts it, either as birth or adopted mother.
Nonetheless, I am hoping to find published text regarding Iggwilv's parents. Do you know where your memory may be coming from?
I've checked S4: "Tsojcanth" and there's nothing there. Also ToEE and Return to ToEE. I read through the Background info in Expedition to Castle Greyhawk by Mona & Jacobs and even took a peek at Dragon 359 where "all" the D&D mysteries were (LOL) "revealed." I browsed through my Dragon "Demonomicons of Iggwilv" and though I'm missing 1 or 2, I'm pretty sure none have Iggwilv's parentage.
That just about covers my resources except for the Boards here where just about all the other Grognards know more GH than I. I did, however, think of another source that I'll check tonight if I have time -- the Nic Logue adventure that WotC put out online for free after they killed the mags yet before they killed the game; it's an adventure about Drelzna -- maybe Iggwilv gets a couple paragraphs.
Oh, and since you mentioned Baba Yaga (THANKS!!) I'll go ahead and check Dragon 84? -- the one with Moore's adventure, "Baba Yaga," just in case. I don't have the 2E adventure: S5, "Baba Yaga" by Smedman to check there, unfortunately.
-----------------------------
If Baba Yaga IS Iggwilv's mother, that is awesome. Think about Iuz: Iggwilv and Baba Yaga on one side of the family tree, Graz'zt and Pale Night on the other. The only thing cooler would be if he were a vampire chick. Oh wait, Drelzna. . . .
Talk about sibling rivalry.
I'm fairly certain that Tasha (she of the hideous laughter) is Iggwilv and it was implied that she was indeed the daughter of Baba Yaga. (I don't recall where if that's official, though, but that's how I've always run it.)
Which makes integrating her into Golarion all the easier. ^_^
Some of the changes are annoying (like I have no idea how to play my paladin anymore, and the focus thing with the hunter is taking some getting used to).
Anybody thought of an all-goblin guild? Thistletops of Golarion?
vikking wrote: hey I have an article that can be broken up into sections, i.e. part in Wayfinder 4, another in 5 and so on. Its about 7,340 or so words, can that be done? Not unless I see "article part the first". :)
We rotated through dinner duties in my gaming group - somebody would handle the main meal, while everybody else split with snacks and dessert. We ate pretty healthy that way. But for marathon sessions, something in the crockpot - chili, goulash or soup, for example.

taig wrote: What is the deadline? I will have time to work on something this weekend and during the week.
Also, is it OK for someone who didn't submit in the first round to submit something for this round?
Deadline...hmmm...November 5th.
Yes.
Ulgulanoth, you still need to follow the submission guidelines. I'll be all pouty if your article is over 1500 words and I have to cut material. *sniffles*
Feytharn sums it up pretty well, but in addition, the idea of combining and reprinting/updating the APs is a lot of work and the schedule is tight enough as it is. Rise of the Runelords is still available in PDF form, and sometimes "Burnt Offerings" shows up on eBay.
Welcome to the boards jacob! *offers cookies*

Now I need some more crunchy articles - no monsters, please, I have plenty. What about jungle-themed class archetypes (like in the APG)? Equipment? Traps? A prestige class maybe? (Also, I got no sidetrek submissions... ;_; ).
Looking forward to round two of submissions. :) Can those that submit in round 1 submit again? Yes.

I did indeed! Soricel will need to rest up his feet for Wayfinder #5 though.

I think the elves with no body hair thing (and lady-dwarves with beards, and hairy-footed halflings) are things that are so ingrained in our gamer DNA that it's hard to suss out their origins. Every artist is going to render it differently, which is part of the fun. :D
The problem with using third-party material in an adventure is that you have to essentially copy over everything that a GM would need to run it, and that chews up word count something fierce. Not saying that it can't be done, but, there is a practical side to the equation. :)
James Jacobs wrote: Of course, if this thread is an indication, a lot of folks share Paizo's excitement for this type of genre mixing, and we all know where that kind of synergy leads... To awesome adventures? :P

It's good to have one editor for prose and another for mechanics/statblocks. It's what has worked out well for Wayfinder.

Not much information on the empyreal lords, alas. *sniffs* My inquisitor of Andoletta is going to be a lot of improv.
