Mystic Twin:
+2 to all saves. Anytime you make a saving throw by 2 or less,
Your twin suffers half the effect, regardless of their location.

Twinned:
When in combat, with your twin as an ally, both of you receive a
+1 bonus to initiative. In addition, whenever you and your twin
flank an opponent, you each receive an additional +1 bonus to hit.

Aaaaand, pres man for the win.

None of the deities created by TSR or WotC are Open Content, correct? Specifically, Taiia and Elishtar.

I know the AP write-ups aren't SRD, but I think that would be a cool thing for them to put up for free. ALL of the iconics' 1st level stats in one big PDF. Especially considering we aren't getting anymore base classes anytime soon.

So has anyone taken the level 1 versions from the AP and put them online, or posted them? I'm not trying to bypass buying them, but it would be a silly investment for 2 pages of stats.

Does anybody know if there is a PDF with the 1st level wrote-ups of all of the iconics

I am going, but so far there has been very few normal RPGs posted to the slot board on the website. I hope there are some pick-up games. I am not a PS member, but I wouldn't mind playing in one of the events.

A world book (like the axed gazetteer of nentir vale) and something urban flavored (waterdeep sourcebook would be my choice).

I prefer Pathfinder over 4E, but Nentir Vale was something I was actually wanting to buy. I think Fallcrest is a fantastic starting area, and if my E6 Eberron game gets off the ground again, it will be mostly there. So, basically, I wish they would publish what they have.

Okay, so disgruntled Australians aside, anybody actually going?

Do to switching Internet providers, I haven't had a chance to listen to their podcast yet. I'll probably download it this weekend. I was told of the Con by a friend and we're carpooling there from KC. Having not listened, I have to ask do you object to the idea of roleplaying focus, or do you feel the host over emphasizes it/denigrates peeps who just want to blow up Orcs?

Bump due to forum shift.

<Shakakhan!>

Who's planning on going and/or running something.

We use 22 point buy.

Alternate advancement system. Google it.
Short version: Level normally until 6th level, then you get an extra feat every 5000 exp. Every five "Epic" feats, and your level for CR purposes goes up by 1.

Allow me to add a caveat.
It's an E6 game.

No Arcane Spell Failure.
Full Attacks as a Standard action.
Some system wherein casters add their casting stat bonus to spell effects.
Pulling the 5 tier alignment system from 4E. (Which feels stolen from 1E Warhammer anyway.)

Do any of these things feel, legitimately, like they would make the system go blooey?

Thanks for the info.
Actually, I was interested in the party's casters being high level, but staying away from the "game breaker" spells. More chances of building challenging, non-instakill encounters. Of course nothing stopping players from demanding their own characters be used, therefore letting the spells back in.

Does your group have play experience at high level?

This is not an entry. Just something playing in my mind, and I would like some opinions.

Is this a decent party? High level play (16-20), no great need for a Rogue or Ninja.

Gunslinger
Inquisitor
Samurai
Summoner

Has Paizo published an AP or module using a non-core book PC, other than Seltyiel?

Hyperlink Y U NO LINK?

Nope.

Why must the Jerkfaces at Paizo let me know about something I can't get until October+, when I want to buy it yesterday?

WHY?!?!?!?

Thanks very much!

I see Elf. Would Half-Elf be OK? Could I take a feat from Complete Adventurer? (Oversized Two-Weapon Fighting)

Having a custom hoodie print done and I need a piece of info from any world travellers out there. What is the name and number of the police precinct that covers Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima?

You know how prophecies are, he may have been referring to the reign of the King in Yellow.

Nice!

I just read Insylum the other day.
:)

The ghosts of the people attending a dress ball who were murdered by their hosts?

A crew of extra-dimensional Half-Elf/Half-Shadow creates planning on using this as a staging point for a massive invasion? <These creatures, we find out, are what happens to the fractured and lost parts of the Elven and Human souls when the two species interbreed.

Lastly, the remaining refuge of the pleasant aspects of the afterlife. The rest of you campaign world's afterlife has been destroyed in a titanic war that the mortal world has yet to be made aware of.

Pastiche time!

Everyone wants Epic play, psionics, and other planets.

A group of 16th level PCs are recruited to conquer a Mega-Dungeon style stronghold on Akiton that was the actual birthplace of the Tarrasque. The entrance to this dungeon is at the bottom of a massive and ancient impact crater. It is controled by a cult of Rovagug. While on this world and in the crater and accompaning dungeon, the cult members have access to very powerful psionics. This is the result of the psychic shockwave of the deaths caused by the impact thousands, if not millions of years ago. At the Center of the Dungeon? A key to awakening Rovagug? A clue helping an entire group of people make it to the Starstone at once? Who knows.

Now Paizo can give us 16th level builds for all of the iconics, or you can start the campaign with the PCs you have worked hard to build up from a previous AP.

Could you do one more? I would love to see your Warforged.

Interesting you should say this. I was thinking that if my players ran across a lich in my E6 game, I would just make them a ghoul who kept their spellcasting abilities.

Good luck. Hope you can work it out.

I think one of the most useful things that 4E brought us was a simplified 5 tiered alignment system. It is very similar to Warhammer, if you haven't read it. Plenty of room to play in the individual alignments and the people in the middle are no longer "Neutral" like they don't care or are some kind of hippie druid "balance maintainer." They are simply Unaligned. "Hey, man, I got a life to live, kids to raise, etc. I can't get involved in the eternal struggle of Good vs. Evil." I would like to intro this system into my Pathfinder RPG/Eberron game.

Does anybody else hear Jethro Tull?

About Words of Power, James. Is it going to be anything like the Miracle system for FUDGE? I would like to see a system for clerical spell casting that doesn't use Vancian forms. Sort of a free-form roll on a chart that takes into account what your god is the god of, how faithful the priest has been, how deserving is the recipient, etc.

Sorry if this is a hijack.

What if I want to remain under a sleep spell after having taken damage?

Dude, she's in a Player Companion. That means she's meant to be a PC - or PC-ish. Thaaaat means it's up to you to tell us. :)

I'm going with Sorceror 5/Dark Willow 10/Sexy Fantasy Cliche 3/Lefty's Future Ex-Wife 1/Fighter 2(for the feats)

What they said.

Plus, 2 feats my friend.

Step Up and Stand Still.

Learn em, love em, live em.

See, I feel we are spoiled by Paizo. I see this awesome artwork and I want a full iconic background on her.

Side note. When I first read about the Summoner during the Alpha test, my first thought for an Eidolon was to recreate Red XIII.

Where'd this PCGen thread go?

EDIT: Weird. It's back.

I think it got moved to the proper forum. Any clue with the portraits?

I am using this and it way cooler than it used to be just afew years ago. My problem is that I can't my portraits to appear when I look at my character sheet. Any help?

If memory serves:
Effect: Main hand wand uses a charge and has the spells effect. Off-hand wand uses 2 charges and has the spells effect.
Prereq: Craft Wand, Two-Weapon Fighting

I have the winged sword of the Malakim from In Nomine on my right shoulder blade.

May I recommend FUDGE? Very easy math, with word based levels of ability.

http://www.fudgerpg.com/

What level, Fool?

I would say Martial, but jeez, good question. Who has Bastard Sword as prefered, anyway?

Per page 30:

1)Select new class level. You must already qualify for this based on previously gained abilites, etc.
2)Apply Ability Score increase due to Character Level gain.
3)Integrate all of that classes' abilities from that level and roll for hit points.
4)Add new skills and feats.

Question: Does the "feats" in step 4 refer to both those from class gains and Character Level gain? ie, if my character just made 7th level fighter and I want to use my odd numbered Character Level feat to get a feat with +7 BAB is it legit?

Thanks ahead of time.

I LOVE the new Paladin. Smite Evil rocks the collective world of Evil Outsiders and Undead. It should remain unchanged. Why? Paladins are supposed to be the absolute BANE of these creatures. They are one of the few PC's that it's pretty reasonable to have powerful monsters from these catagories fear and run away from. As they grow in power they should gain serious rep. Paladins are supposed to be on the rare side anyways, one you have one getting powerful without getting smoked, the opposition starts getting worried.

What helps the cause more, than when in the middle of the war-torn, demon invaded city, a high level Pally strides past the huddled survivors lying in the street and tells the Dark Prince(tm) to go f@!# himself before decapitating him? Nothing, that's what!

Well, I was waffling back and forth on ordering this, but I eventually gave in. A big factor was that I like Eberron and having a workable artificer class is a necessity for that setting.

I thought the same thing, but that Artificer preview doesn't look very similar to the one from Eberron. It may be more accurate to convert the 3.5 version. I haven't worked out how to compensate for the loss of the experience cost for items, though. Maybe just give them the reduced gold cost feat for free and then make improved and greater versions for higher levels.

Remember the Gritty setting for Massive damage, Krome. Any single attack/source that does 10 or more points causes a DC 15 Fort save or you're at -1 and dropping. Combine that with, say, +1 die to each weapon damage, and opponents will drop like flies. If you make the stabilizing rules a little easier, say DC 20 or 25 Fort or Will save, you have more realistic gun fights. A lot of people being hit and jacked-up, but way more WIA's than KIA's
