Lam-ang decides to strike hard at the thug before him. He shouts, "Fall before the Whirling Fury."

Attack Roll 1d20+2=22, Damage Roll 1d6+3=5

I hope my ruse works. "Quickly, comrades! Strike them from behind!"

Bluff Check 1d20=11

Lam-ang is editing his action, Prat is ahead of him in initiative. Hence, his intended action to J9 is not possible.

Spoiler:

Lam-ang moves beside one of his companion, Lance, but towards edge of the dock. He whirls his quarterstaff and attacks the thug menacing Lance.

Lam-ang moves to J9. He attacks the thug in I10.

Attack Roll 1d20+2=5, Damage Roll 1d6+3=8

Instead, Lam-ang performs the following:

Lam-ang sees the tide of battle going against them and urges Lance and Prat to withdraw, "Friends, we are vastly outnumbered! Let's go!" Lam-ang moves back and holds out his quarterstaff in a ready position.

Lam-ang moves to J6 to cover the withdrawal.

Lam-ang moves to I7

Lam-ang urges the Lady's Party to depart, "Friends, you have to get away!" Stating the obvious, "You are outnumbered!"

Luenevyn wrote:

"More lucky than anything, really. You're no slouch with that staff yourself. I'm Luenevyn. You're not from around here, are you?"

Luenenevyn moves forward to return the greeting and winces, putting his hand to his side where the thug stabbed him.

"The lady? I'm more concerned about myself."

As he watches the blood soak into shirt, he curses and adds, "This is my only shirt."

"I live outside of the city in one of the plantations but when I do come here, I usually stay at the Knowlern estate."

Then Lam-ang catches a look at the blood pouring from the elf, "Let's have a healer get a look at your wound. That looks nasty."

"Friends! May we request your assistance!" Lam-ang shouts after the other people who helped the woman.

Lam-ang compliments the tattooed, flame-haired elf, "You're quite handy with your club there, friend."

Extending a hand in a gesture of peace and flashing a roguish grin, "I am Lam-ang and frankly I don't wannna be on the business end of that weapon of yours."

"Let's see how the lady's doing."

Seeing as the woman is being taken cared of by a healer, Lam-ang doesn't wait for an answer and charges after the remaining thug.

"You shall not escape my justice!" Lam-ang shouts as he drives his quarterstaff into the fleeing thug.

Charge Attack Roll 1d20+4=18, Damage Roll 1d6+3=9

Lam-ang moves through alley and hangs protectively the woman that was just assaulted and check on her. "You alright?"

Lam-ang lunges for the remaining thug attacking the man holding up the light. He roars his indignation as he hammers down his quarterstaff.

"Raaaaaaaaaah! I come for you!" Hopefully this will distract this thug long enough to give my ally a chance.

Attack Roll 1d20+2=17, Damage Roll 1d6+3=6

DitheringDM: There is no flanking bonus applied to the attack roll, if you see that the situation calls for it, please add accordingly. Thanks :D

Upon seeing the thugs, Lam-ang quickly ducks out of sight. He signals to the other man that he is with him.

Lam-ang prepares to strike at the first thug to rush out. If they didn't see me then these thugs would be more than confident to attack. I'll catch them flat-footed then.

If necessary
Attack Roll1d20+2=14, Damage Roll 1d6+3=8

For DitheringDM:

For DitheringDM:

Spoiler:
A distraction created to cover the abduction of that woman but why? She appears to be poor. Let see what we can find out. Lam-ang follows after the group of shady looking men though he takes care not to seem too interested. Lam-ang also looks around to see if there are others who have taken an interest. To be better able to deal with sudden attacks, he holds his quarterstaff two-handed.

To DitheringDM: How are the shady looking men armed? And how many are they? Spot and Listen Checks?
