At first glance Quinn appears to be a rather plain young woman with coal-black hair and mud brown eyes however close inspection reveals an unnatural, almost ethereal, black tinge to her features that is likely a mark of the Shadow Plane from which she draws her powers. Her attire is the highly symbolic livery of her cult, the first layer being cloth fitted to display her feminine form and mimic the standard attire of a Shae while the second is an almost overly large coat in representation of the misty form Shae take when not around other creatures. Her decorative mask however is quite contrary to the theme of the rest of her garb, being a black mask that only covers part of her face in place of the Shae's normal full face white mask, serving as a reminder that they are still just mimics of the form they seek to ascend into.

Quinn is comfortable and confident with a blade in her hand but outside of combat she seems unsure of herself, self-doubt quickly replaces bravado when she is forced to make any kind of real moral decision. Her young age causes an almost innocent outlook on how the world works and while she boasts being self sufficient she craves the attention and acceptance of others still.

Quinn awakens in a daze, her mind a swirling mess of vague and shadowy memories that defy any attempt to be pieced back together until a strange darkness overtook her mind leaving her in nothingness. However this darkness did not cause fear or sorrow but instead a sense of calm as the once chaotic bundle of memory was slowly being melding into almost organized shards of her past. The shadow grant insight into her old life showing a hooded group dressed in attire similar to her own surrounding a small statue of an Unknown Creature, a feeling of kinship starts to sprout but it is quickly pulled out from under her as the image switches focus onto a single member. He stands among the others but something isn't quite right about him his demeanor is wicked and his presence alone causes anger to rise in Quinn but like before it is pulled away as the images fade away and Quinn is forced to face this new world without the comfort of her darkness.
