No, it comes with chainmail which the four-mirror part (which only covers the chest and back) is worn over.

Are you implying you get chain mail with the four mirrored armor at 100 gold less than the cost of chainmail alone.?

It is allowed via Ultimate Equipment, so it's legal (using that source).

Then it would have to be worn over Chainmail right?

I am trying to reconcile four mirrored armor with Society play and would like to get an official ruling. The additional Resources guide eliminated it for Society play as it is in the disallowed chapter in the Ultimate Combat. That was great but now it is in the Ultimate Equipment Guide and does not seem to be disallowed. What is the official ruling on use in Society play.
Is the Ultimate Combat or the Ultimate Equipment the answer?

Thank you.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Is there any way to contact a player by his society number. I found a society card left at a game. Thanks Linda

Ahh thank you I had not had the chance to read the scenario as yet.

I just purchased the confirmation and downloaded it to my Windows Surface. The Player handout does not display or print. I then went to my laptop and repeated the download and sadly it does not display or print there either. I have as laser printer on the surface and an ink jet printer on my laptop. Can you tell me what I have done wrong or better yet send me the text from the 2 handouts. The rest of the scenario should be fine on either computer.

Thank you.

Ahh found s previous question. I will follow that thread.

Why would I be getting an error message when reporting a session?

Important

One or more characters cannot play this scenario due to
being the wrong character/scenario type.

Can you tell we what I have done wrong?

We are having a difference of opinion about the Plant Domain ability to speak with plants and could use some clairty.

1. Is this a special ability of the domain?
2. Does it work like the Speak with Plants spell?
3. Does it use up a spell slot or is it always active?

Thanks for your insight.

I agree there should be a way to change them but I can't get over the last line of the rule.

must choose whether or not to swap the spell at the same time that she gains new spells known for the level.

You only gain new spells for a level on the odd numbered levels not the even ones. It still seems like a contridiction to me. It is the word new that locks this up in my opinion.

See the table of known spells in the Core Rule book.

Upon reaching 4th level, and at every even-numbered sorcerer level after that (6th, 8th, and so on), a sorcerer can choose to learn a new spell in place of one she already knows. In effect, the sorcerer loses the old spell in exchange for the new one. The new spell's level must be the same as that of the spell being exchanged. A sorcerer may swap only a single spell at any given level, and must choose whether or not to swap the spell at the same time that she gains new spells known for the level.

Since all new spells are learned at odd levels how can a Sorcerer exhange a spell under the rules above?

If I remember correctly, each level you get to add a new spell, at odd levels you get access to better spells, and at even levels you can drop a spell you have picked to get an extra new spell.

General message board ettiquite is that if you have an unrelated question, you should start a new thread. So at the top of the "rules questions" forum, you should see a blue link that says "add new thread" click there and reask your question. That way it will get a lot broader response.

Thank you for your response I will repost.

Let me say I am sorry now if this is not the correct place to post a question. I am very new to message boards and a bit intimaded by them.
If you can direct me to the proper posting arena I would much appreciate it as I do have a rules question about Sorcerer spells and when you can change out a know spell.
The core rules seem to indicate that you can not change a spell except on an even numbered level yet all new spells are given on an odd numbered level. Has this been addressed in the past and can you let me know what the solution would be?

Thank you
