Kysstaa grew up in the brutal and savage Black Jungle, being tested every day on mere survival. Contact with the outside world was limited, but he knew that the views and beliefs of his tribe were limited and scope and did not want to be held back. He knew that he had a higher calling. He devoted his life to his deity, Lendys, and in return was granted insight and abilities above those around him. While trying to retain some semblance of humility, he realized that his destiny lay outside the canopy of the jungle.
