As an answer to the man, Kutok only smiles grimly, and darts backwards in a defensive maneuver(5 ft. step, fighting defensively), drawing a vial of his own and drinking it before the man can return the favor.
Immediately, Kutok bursts in size, growing in seconds before reaching a height of at least 12 feet tall.
New AC: 14 (17 for this round due to defensive stance and ranks in Tumble)
Unarmed Strike: +7 (+1 base, +3 Str, +1 Weapon Focus, -1 size, +2 flanking, +1 morale) for 1d8+4 damage (atk at +3 until next round)
Does that provoke? Or was he able to move away?
I'm not too sure about placement here, so bear with me...
Kutok lunges from the shadows as they pass by, leaping on top of the shield-bearer like a striking tiger. His eyes are the eyes of a hunter, as his hands bear death.
Grab attempt: 17 (touch attack; doesn't provoke due to Improved Grapple)
Grapple roll: 19
Grapple damage: 3
-
Kutok then moves into the shield-bearer's space to continue the grapple, provoking an attack of opportunity from his buddy (unless they are flat-footed).
Kutok nods and moves to flank the girl's location, taking his time to move quietly. His path unexpectedly takes him though open ground, however, and he realizes he may have been spotted.
Taking 10 for an 18 on Move Silently. Rolled 5 on Hide for an 8.
If a single move (15 ft.) puts him within reach without being noticed, he holds position and waits to assess the situation.
If he is noticed, Kutok sighs and sits unless further aggressive action is taken.
Otherwise, he moves again another 15 ft. until reaching the tree, taking his time to be stealthy (13 Hide, 18 Move Silently)
Kutok, silent as usual, creeps up behind Genji. The ground beneath him, however, is not so quiet, as twigs snap and crumble; and so he stays behind the gnome, listening intently and keeping a sharp eye out for danger.
15 ft. movement...
Move Silently - 11
Hide - 12
Listen - 19
Spot - 28 (nat 20!)
Kutok places a hand on Gillad's shoulder, and nods sharply. He then turns to the old shaman and bows deep while maintaining fierce eye contact. His posture exposes old wounds on his neck.
This one would not go out without a fight.
"... he's not dead yet..."
Inspired by Keria's words, Kutok flies into a massive flurry of attacks, taking full advantage of his position and the prone status of the giant.
Mechanics: (flurry of blows & two-weapon fighting for -4, +1 from inspiration, +2 from flanking, +4 from the ettin being prone = +7 total)
1st Atk: 24 (8 damage)
2nd Atk: 25 (6 damage)
3rd Atk: 10 (--)
If that waylays the ettin, Kutok takes a 5-foot step toward the nearest orc, an angry expression on his face. "Their actions disgrace a proud legacy..."
"... he's going to need all the help he can get to take that thing down..." Kutok pauses momentarily at the sight of the monster, before sprinting after the foolhardy dwarf.
Kutok attempts to flank the ettin, or get as close as possible, before snapping out a kick that merely grazes the giant's skin.
Init (9), charging attack (9)
Kutok has reentered the fray!
Just picking my equipment then I think I'm done.
