Background
Kutho was born a slave in the lands of the Scarlet Brotherhood..but when he was very young a group of adventurers penetrated those lands and caused great harm to his masters(Against the Slave Lords..there's classic Greyhawk for you). Taking advantage of the confusion(well volcanic eruptions are like that) Kutho escaped and managed to make his way to the more settled lands to the north. Finding that he was regarded by humans as little more than an animal because of his orcish blood he sought refuge in a secluded monastery.. there he found solace in the word of Pholtus and a way to concentrate his anger with the world in his devotions and the Martial Arts...

Rising swiftly through the ranks he was able to finally meet the world on his own terms.

For the last eight years he has been a member of this adventuring band striving to bring them to the Light and away from their heathen practices..and now he sees the crisis as a means to achive his goal
