I've been planning to run a CoC themed campaign and find the d20 rules quite good for most aspects of the game, I just need to have a good system for player and npc sanity. I'm thinking that players start off 100% sane but when exposed to alien monsters or disturbing events they would need to make a will save or take Xd10 sanity damage unless they spend time resting their minds. I also think that sort of DR for sanity could be acquired with feats. The campaign is going to be lower magic at the beginning with players needing to access occult tomes to use spells and having to roll a d20 each time they cast with a roll of a natural 1 or a roll under double the spell's level requiring a sanity save. Any other suggestions?

o a group of my friends want to see who is capable of building the most powerful character by pitting them against each other in a free-for-all PvP.

My character is an evil aligned cleric with the Death and Evil Domains.
The other characters are a Zen Archer, two Wizards, a Magus and a Gunslinger.

I know for sure that the wizards are going to be my prime target and need to die fast. I've been thinking that a good way to get rid of them would be to use Energy Drain to suck levels out of them because of the Wizard's weak fortitude save while trying to hit them with a bestow curse to drain away their INT by 6. We will be allowed time to buff, and other such things, time which I plan on using create greater undead to make devourers that can give my enemies more negative levels so I can kill instantly with Blasphemy.

I'm certain that the Wizards are going to make themselves invisible, which is why I took Invisibility purge and true sight if they're not in the radius.

I'm not too concerned with equipment and such, I mostly just need a spell list, particularly one that will be effective against wizards.

Some of you may have read one of my previous threads where I had a Drow themed dungeon, anyways now that the monsters are done I need help allocating treasure for the players.

It is intended for a 1st to 2nd level party, It has a total of 19 encounters, three bosses and I have a party of 8 players.

I already planned for several masterwork weapons, a +1 Elven Curveblade, a Wand of CLW, 4 1st level spell potions and a suit of masterwork fullplate.

Any suggestions for treasure additions or detractions are welcome unless they are really unreasonable, like a +5 Vorpal Greatsword.

I'm using a drow vivisection alchemist for a dungeon boss soon and was wondering what feats to take, the discovery and stats.

The character is level 3 at the moment.

So Here are some of the encounters I plan to use, its themed around drow and their servants. I plan to use a Drow noble for the dungeon boss along with maybe a Drow alchemist with oozes as a sub-boss, maybe equip her with a wand or other little magic item. Any advice on loot or suggestions to encounters?

4 Scarlet spiders
2 Drow
1 Sanguine Alchemical ooze swarm

3 Goblins
3 Orcs
1 Drow

2 Stirges
3 Drow

1 Phlegmatic Alchemical ooze swarm
3 Drow

1 Small earth elemental
1 Giant spider
3 Drow

2 Homunculi
3 Drow

2 Svirfneblin
1 Spider Swarm

4 Amoeba swarms

Drow Alchemist
Slime Mold

2 Dretches
3 Drow
1 Quasit

3 Morlocks
6 Drow

2 Iron cobras
4 Drow
6 Orcs

2 Bugbears
3 Drow

1 Cythnigot
3 Drow
1 Choleric alchemical ooze swarm

3 Morlocks
2 Small earth elementals
3 Drow

2 Draugr
2 Morlocks

Drow Noble
6 Drow

So what should I hand out for treasure along with the loot they can get from the bodies?

My regular gaming group seems pretty laze when it comes to putting a party together and they don't quit seem to understand that spells overshadow attacks at higher levels which we play at all the time.

I'm trying to rebalance the group because we usually end up with one guy always playing barbarian and not quite understanding high damage, one guy always playing rogue because no one else plays it, a guy who constantly switches between frontline classes, a constant alchemist, and a constant gunslinger.

Can anyone give a good argument as to why we need to actually have catsers when something like a wizard or cleric could solve so many problems, they also seem to belive clerics are nothing but HEALING as opposed to godly buffer/debuffer death machines.
