Sounds fine, I understand the rush.
ALWAYS CTRL+C before you post....after 10 minutes, it's iffy if it's going to post, after 30 minutes you can almost guarantee it's going to be eaten.
Indeed, this has been a fun game Hida-sama.
*Bump* To keep the thread out of the Shadowlands of ArChiVe
"Agreed, we cannot abide the shadow anywhere, especially beyond the Kaiu walls."
Hmmm the bumpty dance, not often we see that outside the Kaiu walls.

"I believe that my companions are entirely to quick to judge the character of a man that they know nothing about. We should listen to the testimony of Ryoko-san in the matter of the misguided Tonbo. There is also the burden of proof of my clanman's involvement with the Bloodspeaker due to the nature of the fog and the unknown abilities of the Bloodspeaker's magic and what it can do to a man's mind. While I do believe his action towards Asako-san are both dishonorable and disgraceful it should be his own daimyo who decides the proper punishment for him."
You think there may be a reason for conspiring with bloodspeakers to attempt to kidnap his obvious obsession, the bloodspeaker had been at the teahouse with us, watching us, I saw him there, but I sensed nothing at the time; if only I had, then those poor peasants would still be alive. No, DAichi-san, there is NO reason to consort with bloodspeakers.
Still here, that was just rough on the group since we were all split up and such. Tough on a live group...'orrible on a PbP Group.

** spoiler omitted ** Heihachi doesn't dare slander the evil spirit in its hunting ground. After they're away, "Damn them for not allowing the Kuni to rid us of those foul things."
"Before we leave, what are you known by Kansen?"
Sorry life's been really busy...
GM
Huh, my post never showed up and I didn't notice yesterday...
GM:
Heihachi is a bit clueless currently
Raw Int: 3d10=9
Ume/GM
Then I will go ahead and use commune.
Not sure, I'm a bit lost as to where we are at the moment, did we find tracks or not?
Heihachi stares in wonder at the Kami-touched monk...and thinks to himself, what knowledge lies hidden within his touched mind
"Come Kambei" Heihachi says to his little Shiba...
Should give it a *KICK* start
bump

Would that be Commune (water based?) And My Elemental Imbalance would mean a secondary roll at TN20? or is that part of the normal roll? EEEK I'm out of Earthspells...well at least I killed the bloodspeaker with my earth spells.
any way for me to communicate with the river kami to find where they went?

Heihachi examines the clues that Nagatsuna is pointing out. Heihachi is still holding his wakizashi in hand, ready for anything.
"Kanbe, come" Heihachi calls to his dog.
Heihachi takes off after Nagatsuna, drawing his wakizashi as he begins to trot.
"Then he's your burden Lion...try to keep up, we're hunting shadows."
"Guards, dispose of that merchant by pyre, he was a bloodspeaker."
"If he's consorting with Bloodspeakers, I doubt he'll give up, we'll most likely have to put him down"
"This is the merchant that had taken an interest in us at the teahouse...I should have detected his taint then. Now two of the empire's wards are dead." Heihachi states as he lets the flame katana dissipate.
Heihachi turns toward Nagatsuna. "Megumi-san, you've obviously never seen a Crab enter the rage...be careful, he may not be able to tell friend from foe just yet."
Hai, our GM is missing again...
I think I put some serious hurt on the Bloodspeaker too..
Take it from the Bloodspeaker, definitely,
"Unicorn let us Kill that bloodspeaker!"
I will then use my last earthspell for the day casting another Jade Strike. I will use the free raises for dmg
Using scroll: Casting 5d10.open(10).takeHighest(3)=23
3d10.open(10)=23 +10=33 for the 2 free raises, and +5 for any additional raises from the casting itself.
Bah, looks like my post got eaten this morning...I had rolled an 8, do I add anything to that for ToB roll?
Sorry, think my spell casting threw our NewGM for a loop...heh
anyone have the damage for that spell, I didn't have a chance to even get online last night
Heihachi launches a shaft of jade at the bloodspeaker
"I am, two ashigaru are not!"
"NO! Bloodspeaker!!!!"
DM ONLY!!! Rar!
Heihachi moves toward the edge of the fog on the bridge...
"where is he? is he in the fog with you?"
Heihachi doesn't think so...
1d10=1
heh.
Hiehachi is used to being the outsider remember? almost the entire last module he excluded himself. Want me to roll one also? haven't really been involved in the actual battle...
I see. Very well...good to go!
well? Shisumo-sama?
Can I counterspell the fog?
Heihachi begins to feel Tonbo may be tainted and even if he's not a Jade Strike will at least make him feel shame for his actions...
Heihachi heads toward the bridge.
Don't know if they can hear me inside or not, so
If they can hear me, then let them know they can read it, if they can't then let me know there's no response...

well I got one, not three heh....impossible!! well 1 in 500 chance.
I need two separate rolls, one a Raw Perception roll, TN 30 (impossible)
Perception/Investigation (Notice) roll, TN 20. 2d10=15

so that was 2 rounds of actions... Defense 3 lets you skip ahead in the initiative order on the first round of combat in order to declare Full Defense before you would otherwise be able to do so. Full Defense still basically takes up your action, however. My mistake...now I understand...better
DM Shisumo wrote: Kuni Heihachi wrote: Heihachi will cast armor of earh spell.

Draw my Wakizashi and enter full defense.
That's three rounds' worth of actions - however, nothing appears to happen in that time.
I would like everyone to post their actions in spoilers, due to the reduced visibility. You can only clearly see the actions of people right next to you, and there is an increasingly difficult Raw Perception roll to see anything beyond that. I have defense 3, so entering full defense isn't a round of action...
so that was 2 rounds of actions...I was at the waters edge at the time, so I put myself there...remember I had gone down there to give prayer to the river Kami...
