About Kror Stormshield

Kror's family is descended from a cadet branch of the ruling family of one of the ancient Sky Citadels. While most believe that it was Koldukar that the Stormshield's ancestors ruled, Kror believes that one of the forgotten Sky Citadels is somewhere in the mountains of western Varisia, and hopes to discover both the Citadel and his family's claim to its throne. Not, however, because he's any great student of history, or because of his strong sense of dwarven pride. Mostly he just wants to avoid the marriage his family have arranged for him.

While she's a good match for a young dwarf from an unimportant noble line who no longer have any wealth or land, she'd never be an acceptable wife for the dwarf who rediscovers a lost Sky Citadel; especially if his own lineage would have claim to rule it.

Not that Kror dislikes the girl or anything - he just doesn't want to have to settle down with anyone. Adventuring is too much fun. And spending a few years (or even a few decades if need be) searching for legendary dwarven cities means that he can put off his family's schemes for quite some time yet.
