Very sorry. I've had a terrible cold and it has fuzzed my brain and made me want to sleep in what free time I have. I thought I had put up a comment about it here but obviously didn't. I'm a bit lost on stair placement and access but will try to get back into things.

Hearing the creaking, a suspicion comes on Krokod, "No no no no... this is supposed to be our shelter, don't you DARE break!!!" He feels frozen, not with cold, but caught between choices. He was told to see to Linge, but she seems to be a bit unresponsive. The cold is getting worse, and now the roof maybe collapsing? or maybe he's wrong? Alright. I don't care about any of the particulars, other than the campaign is an empire building campaign. Meaning at some point we are using the ultimate campaign rules to operate, maintain, and improve a city/state/kingdom/empire. I'm even down with any/all race/class restrictions and I acquiesce to your attribute generation rules.
Is there, whether by Paizo or somebody else, a noncharacter sheet that uses variant rules, like armor as damage reduction and wounds and vigor? I've been looking, but haven't been able to find one yet. I would love to have some color printable pdfs of this. Something official looking would be awesome.

You are all in Tully's, at your usual table(big enough to fit eight dwarves), when Magmar brings out a tankard of ale for each of you, and the promise of fresh baked bread and ham-roast reaches your noses. "Roast Pig with Rosemary and Thyme, and fresh Rye Bowls for you laddies tonight." Magmar says as he looks at each of you with his one good eye, an eye patch covering what was lost in a battle with the Deep Orcs almost four score years ago. you guys have through the meal to chat and once I have all of you here, You will get your first quest. Be sure to post using your characters alias.
This is the official recruitment thread for my Dwarves of Varisia Campaign. Character Generation rules:
1) Allowed Races:
-Dwarf 2) Allowed Classes: All Pathfinder classes 3) Dice Rolls:
4) Alignment restriction: No Evil! No LE, NE, CE, CN. 5) Hit Points and Armor:
Each class will have a Basic Defense Bonus as well as a BAB, the BDB will be 3every4,(like the cleric's BAB) for characters that have a Fighters BAB, or have good Reflex Bonus(such as the rogue). The BDB will be 1every1(Like Fighter's BAB) for any class that has both Best BAB and good Reflex. All other class will recieve a 1every2 BDB(Like the wizard's BAB) 6) Allowing up to 2 traits(Feats granting more are allowed as well, but you obviously have to use your feat slot for it) I am also allowing Called Shot and PieceMeal Armor from Ultimate Combat. All magic, whether from Arcane or Divine Spells, (Sp), spell like abilities, Domain powers, (Su); they all get their Damage dealt/healed die code downsized by one. So magic missile is now a 1d3+1, Fireball is 1d4, Lay On Hands and Channel Energy are also 1d4. This helps to even out the whole Magic bypassing Armor's Damage Reduction thing. All Paizo products are allowed, others are with my permission, but try really hard to keep it to Paizo products. I prefer a party of at least 4-6, but as many as 8 might be allowed. Those who have participated prior to the opening of this thread will get preferential treatment in the selection, and the rest of ye will just have to apply below. EDIT: Deadline is February 13th, 0700Z. That is the 13th of February at 2AM Eastern Standard Time.
So, I enjoy Pathfinder. I enjoyed 3.5. But I would also like an AD&D rules lite feeling version. Basically, you have the core classes, but without all of these special abilities. Warrior, priest, rogue, and mage. I was told paizo makes something called swords and sorcerers or something like that. If there isn't, and no plans for such in the future, would Paizo be interested in allowing myself to submit an application to develop such a thing so Paizo can publish it?
Ok. I see there is a serious need for DMs on here, so i will oblige. But i will have hat isome homebrew rules that I will be applying. This will be looking for interest and getting an idea on wherewhat you want to game. I usually do homebrew, but I have some modules and all APs after jade regent, plus rise of the runelords anniversary edition.
Soooo. First, I must apologize to those who were following my Aceraks rise campaign. I started dating a girl, and my finances also stopped allowing me to continue with that game, and the fact that English was a second language for three of my six players, it ended. The German and the Aussie are heading up the group, which has multiple campaigns going on now. I am almost married, and am putting together in Golarion setting, a Band of Brothers, Zombie Apocalypse Campaign. But I could use some assistance in designing. I am already putting together a draft letter/packet to hand the players, which will imclude house rules and campaign background. They will be starting in bootcamp, as draftees into the Andoran Military. Then I will be shipping them up to the northern border, I think. I am thinking a death cult from ustalav has managed to sneak necromancers to raise zombie armies, and thus overthrow Lastwall. And my phone needs charging, so I will post again when I can.
I'm starting up a Pathfinder game myself, with a brand new party. I've only met 2 of the players once before, and of the others I have interested, I have never met, but two of them have RSVP'd for the PC gen session. But I too am planning on throwing ToH into the campaign, we'll see how a level 1 party handles the Tomb. But I'm going at it from a different angle. My world is the 3.5 Greyhawk World had a group of adventurers become new Demigods and Deities, and this caused a massive "God's War". this God's War lasted for an unknown amount of time, anywhere from a couple of centuries, to a millennium. It ended with the death of all the 3.5 books God's, Minus Moradin, who had played a more defensive role than the others. And Vecna's hand and eye are somewhere. So The God's War ended with a massive transformation of the world(think Dragon Lance, or the Noah's Flood in level of change), known as the cataclysm. So there won't be anything really in the ToH, but it should scare the players a lot, and make them question my sanity, as they should. But the story is going to surround Acererak's Vestige, as he tries to take over a villain. This will allow me to have Acererak running around free, trying to cause Evil to rise to power throughout the world. Or I may toss Acererak onto a PC, it depends on what characters are made. I have a Cleric of Roe(NG), and an Elven Boomerang Ranger so far. Haven't heard from the others what they plan on making. I'll post a seperate thread, maybe, and post a link here if anyone wants to read about it. We'll see.
this Campaign will be taking place roughly 1000AC. |
