Background:

Krenrath Valirin was born one of twelve other children. Not the eldest or the youngest of them he was nether pressured or expected to do much of anything. Blessed with the blood of angels and his elven heritage he seemed ever to have luck on his side. As would be expected he never wanted for anything or lacked it, as such he quickly became a spoiled brat to the core. He barely trained in his families legacy of spellcraft and lore, as such one of his elder brothers took it upon himself to insure that at least a basic understanding of both magic and the world outside Kyonin was ingrained in him. Amongst great protest from Krenrath he was taken from home at a young age, for an elf, and was dragged across the world at times even below it. For years the brothers traveled and learned, it was well into a centery of this that something happened. The letters home stopped and the two disappeared, netheir news or even spells could find them. Then a full two years later Krenrath returned to his home.

He wore a mask and refused to speak of what happened. He said only that his brother was dead. While he had returned, he was changed as all quickly found. No longer was he a spoiled brat or a mockery of a scholar, but a full wizard and sage. Still he was never without his mask and his manners were at times strange. Yet he proved to be a steadfast comrade, serving for a time among the gate keepers who watched over the Sovyrian Stone. He even managed new friendships that in his past he would have avoided. Such as his families long time friends and allies in the Amaim house.
