Backstory:
Kracow never meant to be good at being bad. His first ‘crime’ was for a statuesque brunette with a taste for Qadrish coffee. She made her living appraising 'very warm' magical merchandise, at a small cost. From their neat arrangement, Kracow got good at his job and was able to spend a little on his on burgeoning habit.

After his first arrest, Kracow moved into the minor leagues of crime -petty thefts, thuggery for hire, short cons, what have you. All to buy that next spell or scroll, like an addiction to arcana. Inevitably, his skills and natural ability enabled Kracow to graduate into the majors, and he went from petty crime to major felonies. Kracow started to build a rep and connections with the broader elements of crime in Absalom.

Eventual Kracow had to go into hiding due to the interference of corrupt, disgusting local official who spit too much and who managed to maintain his position despite his misuse of power.

The job was simple enough, break in, grab get out. Fencing the magic took on heroic efforts and everyone wanted their share, one corrupt official wanted more than his share. Well when he didn’t get it, Kracow needed to hide.

Kracow found a kindred spirit in a well-educated wizard known for highly irrational behavior, quoting poetry, and seemingly intentional effort to make the worst decisions. From him he learned how to master his arcane powers.

From there, Kracow learned to work with others and teamed up with many for a variety of jobs. All with the intent to get him to that next big magic item.

Recently, he has tapped into a new power within himself. Not being a patience student, Kracow learned to boil magic down to its essence and boiled into a word of power he could conjure with great effort. He is still learning to master this new found power.
