It just keep getting harder to fight fire with fire...

"Foul Imitation of Life! Fall before Life's True Power!"

Taking a step back, Koryn speaks a word of Life.*

*Rebuking attempt and 5-foot step back.

The most powerful undead I can affect are those with 8 Hit Dice, though I can only control those whose total Hit Dice does not exceed 5.

Great. Any contribution is most welcome.

Too bad I'm a negative energy cleric, huh? Unless I rebuke it and have it stop moving while we pummel it into dust... >:)

Welcome back Koryn!!

It's good to be back Dark!. Don't know for how long though. But I should be posting a bit more like usual.

Back for a bit. Yay me!

20! Life be praised!

Koryn's morningstar raises above his head as he charges the animated bones.
"Die foul creature, you have no purpose here!"

Attack:11(includes bonus from charging)
Damage:2

My AC is 18 until my next action.

"Orcus?" hisses the paladin. "We've really stepped into it, haven't we?"

"We walked right into it and more."

Koryn steps away from the walls, trying not to be to close to them. He looks at the others, a grim expression on his face.

"This place is dedicated to Orcus. We must be even more careful than ever, for there is no knowing what foul creatures may reside in such a place."

100th post! Woohoo!

Koryn studies the depictions on the walls closely, trying to remember anything he knows about them.

Knowlede(religion):16 on the demonic goat.

Koryn's morningstar is held firmly in his, ready for use should it be needed. He can be heard muttering softly as the group travels through the tainted halls.

"Should danger draw near,
from within the dark,
let us know to disregard fear
and fight like a lark takes flight."

Listening to Kerywn's prayer, Joneth bows head. Though the paladin is of a different faith, he wants to venerate all the benign gods. When Kerwyn is done, Joneth says:

"That was a beautiful verse. Full of meaning by itself, apart from it's holy power."

My name is Koryn. I do not believe I am from Middle Earth! ;)

"It was just a prayer. One I have used when casting a spell to ward off evil, but I try to keep that spell in reserve when possible. It does help just to say the Common words though."

Looking at the area without flora, Koryn frowns.

"Of all the times not to have prayed for the consecrate spell. Maybe I could have brought Life back to this place. Let us hope the rain does not last for long, this is a place not meant for the likes of us."

His hand goes to his holy symbol and he starts to chant softly under his breath.

"To Life itself I pray,
Protect us this day.
Let an who would do us evil know,
The Power Of Life is not for show."

"Shall we hurry to the building? I'd rather not fight anything while it is raining."

Koryn puts his morningstar away, and draws his sap out, twirling it as he walks.

Joneth Soulborn wrote:
"Ah well, I won't be stubborn this time. Let's go to this place for shelter. If there is something truly dangerous there, we'll just dispatch it. Simple as that, right?"

Though still not fully trusting the priest, Koryn agrees.

"Right. Should be easy to deal with anything that attacks us, should we be attacked."

Dr. Dark! wrote:
Just want to congratulate everyone on really getting into this. I have really good vibes guys!!!

Really? Cause I sense a dragon fight in our future...

"As far as I can tell he is. The holy symbol is real atleast. There's just... something about him I don't like. If possible, I'd like to avoid a fight on a bridge."

My adventurer-sense is tingling! Hope I'm just being paranoid...

Koryn pulls his mace from his belt loop and bangs it lightly against his shield.

"We were asked to clear out a minor infestation. No big deal really, not when adventurers such as ourselves are dispatched to deal with it."

"I'm sure our travels will go smoothly... to a point. But you travel alone. I, like Dartalis, wish to know why you do not seem to fear the dragon or bandits."

He thinks for a moment.

"Though if there is a dragon nearby they must not be the smartest bandits..."

Koryn lets his hand fall away from his weapons. "Strange," he thinks, "why is he coming away from the direction of the the Dungeon of Graves?"

Knowledge(Religion):16=10+6
Trying to see if his holy symbol is real, assuming it can be seen of course.

"I am not sure this person is harmless. Life is strange that way. Even if this person is no threat, he or she may now something about the area ahead."

He straps his shield on and places his hand near his morningstar and sap.

Perhaps I was trying to get people to convert when the follower attacked me because I was 'spouting heresy?'

A classic favorite. I'll add - We all met in a tavern brawl!

I'm a Cleric of Life, drinking is apart of Life, wat's your excuse book-mage?

Db3 here.

I don't think it was just you, the messageboards weren't working for a bit last night either. I think everyone is still buying the PFRPG pdf.
