Appearance: Kordev is a short man when compared to most races, but when compared to the Edraldi he is fairly tall and lean. His skin is a very dark shade of brown, as is his hair which is interwoven and tied back. The only contrast in his appearance comes from his silver eyes. Kordev isn't muscular by any stretch of imagination, but an inner strength is visible in his resolute gaze and stance. He can normally be found wearing a dark brown robe with black sandals.

Personality: None are more easily distracted than this wizard. Kordev easily slips away into daydreams when busy with mundane tasks, and can normally by found mumbling about some exotic mineral he is trying to find. When prompted to speak though, he becomes very withdrawn. Most conversations with him turn out to be very cryptic, since he over thinks his answers and alludes as little as possible to his train of thought.

Background: Kordev's was his tribe's prodigy. He was one of the most gifted Edraldi when it came discovering rare metals. His people praised his knack of finding the earth's hidden treasures, and ignored his unconventional wizardry. Unfortunately this is a commodity not only the Edraldi are in need of, but others aswell.

It didn't take long for outsiders to find out about his abilities. It took even less time for this information to fall into the wrong hands. On a sleepy, sunny day, horsemen rode into the village. They came with such haste that nobody had time to process what was happening. Before anybody could react they had ripped Kordev from the side of the road, and flung him over a horse. He was gagged, bound, and knocked out.

Soon he awoke in a prison, with clear instructions. Increase productivity or die.
