I just noticed that Amazon has adjusted the release date on this to July 2015. Are they pushing this back yet again? I pre-ordered from here expecting September. :(

James,

What are your thoughts on the Sandpoint Box set idea?

Erik said that he would love to do it, but couldn't do it without you.

I would LOVE to do something like this. It's also something I would love to do all on my own. Which means that timing its creation to match up with my already pretty busy schedule is tricky.

At this point, I've got my freelance time tied up through the next several months for products that'll be releasing in a year. Using that as a metric, a big Sandpoint book or box or whatever wouldn't be something I would expect to see this year or next at all.

Source.

So you're telling me there's a chance..

Thanks guys!

On 3 September I ordered a few sets of dice from the Paizo store for my gaming group. When I did so, I didn't notice that one of the sets was back-ordered. After placing the order I saw that it would ship in "2 to 45 days".

I then made the mistake of buying some items on 7 September, due to a big sale. Those items, which were all in stock, were on sale and announced because they were running low in stock. I hastily ordered a bunch of items.

I checked in a few days later to see if my items had shipped.

NOPE!

For some ridiculous reason, the new order has been merged with the old order, and even though all items in the new order were available, they would have to potentially wait 45 days to ship.

I attempted to cancel the order, but there is no way to do so without making a call to paizo.

It is now 20 days after the initial order, and many of the items that I ordered are now listed as unavailable. My order appears to be in purgatory, and I can't drop items off the list that are now unavailable to free it up.

WHY?! WHY....

This makes absolutely no sense.

TLDR: Ordered two times, and the new order was automatically merged with an old order that had an item on backorder. The new order won't ship until everything is in stock, and as time ticks by, more items that I ordered are becoming "unavailable" so I will never receive the order.

Ahh, ok. Thanks for the response!

I tried googling a map of Golarion showing official products, but got no results. Is anyone aware of a world map that has official adventure paths and modules overlayed onto it?

I'm currently preparing for the S&S AP and would love a map to tell me what Paizo products I should reference if my group decides to leave the Skull and Shackles area and explore other locations. Being able to quickly see that heading to a certain area would place them in the Serpent Skull adventure path area, and let me know that I could use the Serpent Skull map folio would be great, or that my players had wandered into the Dragon's Demand location, and they might see the dragon flying in the distance.

Does any map such as this exist?

I'm currently looking into starting a Skull and Shackles campaign, and wanting to purchase a plastic map case for the Skull and Shackles maps from the map folio. The purpose of the map case is to allow my players to use wet-erase markers on the maps for note purposes. The problem I am facing is that the S&S map folio dimensions aren't posted anywhere. The only dimensions that I am seeing are those for the maps while folded (8.5x11) for shipping purposes. Does anyone know the size?

Also, are the map folios all the same dimensions, or do they vary product to product? The City Map folio is listed as 17 x 22.

What were the approximate prices for printing through Lulu? Did you do hardcover?

How big are the printed maps?

What are the dimensions of these maps? It's unfortunate that the only dimensions I'm seeing anywhere are the 8.5 x 11 size of the folded maps.

I too would love to know the map size in advance. I'm thinking of picking up a map holder for it so that we can use wet erase markers.

Great.. pushed back 2 months at least.

Is it normal for no email announcement to go out when they push dates back on products you've pre-ordered?

I would really like to see some other colors of bases included for easily distinguishing key npcs on the battlemap. Including a handful of red stands to show aggressive npcs within a tavern filled with neutral npcs, for instance, or if the players use the pawns as pc tokens, then some green stands to single them out.

Obviously, this might be a bit too late to include with this box set, but maybe having another product that includes an assortment of stands would be great.
