Khrovin is of average height for a human, at around 5’ 9 inches, muscular without being a body builder. He wears his hear long enough that it is able to be knotted back into a pony tail, and the hair looks as though it has not been cut normally in a long long time. It isn’t matted or unkempt in that respect, but some of the tufts are longer than others. (Fluff is that he won’t cut it till he knows the truth about what happened in the case of Akiros). His eyes sparkle with intelligence and curiosity all the time, and an insatiable determination to get where he wants to get. A courteous and kind man, he does not like causing anyone distress, and thus is unhappy about how he is managing to put his foot in it so often with both Brett and Ariarh. He worked hard within the intellectual sphere of the temple, cataloguing history of the religion and so on. During his time at the temple whilst working under Anor, he came in contact with Akiros often, and they built a lasting friendship. When Akiros left after the slaughter, he did not follow, and this is something that he will need to work out with Akiros in any discussions they might have. Weapon training was one of his weaker points, somehow never quite managing to manage to master the swords and other bladed weapons. In the end, he switched to using the Morningstar that he currently owns, likening it to the huge weighty swipes that a bear can make, rather than the raking moves that a wolf would make. He also worked hard to learn the craft of making and using longbows, and the greatest honour that he had whilst living at the temple was when Anor his mentor make him his own bow. It is one of his most prized possessions, so to give it to Bronwyn, even for a moment was a huge thing for him to do.
Whilst at the temple, he was often entranced by the song of the birds, and hence his interest in the flute as an instrument. He spent many hours learning how to play it, and now considers his skill with it fairly reasonable.
He continued his training, and eventually passed through the whole process some years after Akiros left. His experiences as a cleric had left him disillusioned with the way that his temple worked. He believed that they should not have to continually go to the nobles for the funding, but instead be helping and healing the common man around, and connecting with nature. Essentially observing and healing the entire of the world, rather than what he saw as begging the nobles for money and thus wasting time that could be better spent in his opinion.
If someone were to see him without clothing, then a number of scars would immediately be obvious. Many of these were down to weapons training, and pushing well beyond his capabilities at the time. The lessons that he learnt because of that though, about his own pain tolerances, and just how far he can push himself.
When travelling within the stolen lands, he will tend to wear his breastplate. Perhaps later on when the lands are a little more settled he will stop wearing it, but until then, he straps it on after maintaining it well. The bow usually is held on the saddle by a small cord if unstrung, and if strung then it is over a shoulder, readily accessible if needed. The Morningstar however is held in a sheath by his side, but also is readily available. Aside from the breastplate, the equipment that he has is of normal quality, but it is cared for well.
