Having recently ran my party through this book I have to say the two seperate elements (Investigation and diplomacy at the start old fashioned muscle at the end) comes together very nicely in this book. Another excellent book from Mr Pett

This product is an excellent introduction to the Pathfinder Roleplaying game with streamlined rules that aid new players in picking up the rules. I also would think that due to said streamlining the rules would be of use to more experinced players who may not like certain aspects of the main rules. Add in all the extras such as dice, a map, and the minatures and you have a might fine product.

I have been in possession of Ultimate Combat for a few weeks now and I can honestly say it is one of the best books I have ever gotten my hands on several people have already went into detail about each chapter in other reviews so all I would add is certain parts of the book are all about preference if you are not a fan of Asian elements or firearms then you will not like the book as much as others. (Fortunately for me I do like both).

Really enjoyed this book particularly the section on Aroden. Yes several parts you can find in other books but it is good to have it all in one place instead of spread out over multiple companions or Chronicle books (Many of which are far to spoilerish to just hand a player and let them read for details.

Had this book for a few days now and it is an excellent book although admitadly some things are more situational than others.

Have been using the Pathfinder core rule book for some time now and I think it is an excellent piece of work. Classes across the board have been given more variety, Streamlined skills, Improved core races, the list of improvments go on and on.

Is the product perfect? No but any complaints I have are very minor cracks covering a solid core so I would readily recomend this product to anyone.
