Legacy of Fire has a good story but the encounters fall short because the adventure path series waste too much space on non essential material. Like fiction that has nothing to do with the series except it take place in the region. Monsters that are not used in the adventure path. A "extra" filler adventure that is in most of the books is lower level then the actual book that is should be played in. Pretty much all the encounters are basic thug attacks with underpowered opponents and no variety. Some encounter are good and can be deadly but most are just a waste of space. The party quickly adapts to these basic thug attacks. These thug attacks turn into a exercise in dice rolling with hardly any challenge. If Paizo spent more time on the adventure and less wasting the extra space on non essential fluff and rules this series could have been so much better.

This adventure path series tries to do too much. Paizo needs to focus more on the adventure then adding a bunch of extra fluff and rules. Save that stuff for the rule books and regional books.

The paper in the books is really nice but the bindings are poor quality. After one use the pages start falling out. Almost all of the six books lost some pages after one use.

I am pretty much done with buying any more rule books for pathfinder. It is almost a crying shame that all the balancing in the core book is being destroyed by these rushed and un tested rule books. This book I had to ban from my home Legacy of Fire Campaign. So many broken things. Next campaign I will probably use the core book only. I know paizo needs to make money but come on. It is turning into a major turn off.

We played this scenario at level 7-8 with a full and well rounded group of players. It was challenging but not overly hard. I would say you need some decent healing for this scenario.

The story was linear but flowed nice and had a few twists here and there. The scenario used Pathfinder back story to good effect and all the players at the table enjoyed the story.

I have a few "signature" spells like silence and I use them to good effects in most mods. This was the first mod that had me actually go harrumph a couple times. I was out foxed by well made opponents. I had hella fun in this scenario and hope to see more scenarios in the future from
Joshua J. Frost.

This is a good mod but fails miserably because it is a 1 rounder that should be a 2 rounder. The scenario doesn't let the party rest. After 8 hours and 6 or 7 combats later it was finally over. I can honestly say most people were just glad it was over. I don't think it is really the authors fault. I think it is more Paizos fault. They should have made this 2 rounds. I think if the encounter were cut back to 3 or 4 I would have actually enjoyed this mod a lot but If you go into this mod thinking its one round you are going to be disappointed.

I ordered this shirt and the Andorian Faction shirt. The Gray Maidens shirt is a far superior product for $2 less. It is properly sized. It is made out of 100% preshrunk cotton where the Andorian faction shirt will shrink. It also has a thicker feel to it. I just wish I could get the Pathfinder Society re roll with this shirt.

I ordered this shirt and the Gray Maidens shirt. The Gray Maidens shirt is a far superior product for $2 less then I paid for this shirt. As the other poster mentioned I don't like the packaging and the size was too short where the Gray Maidens shirt was perfect and plenty long. The material doesn't feel as nice as the gray Maidens shirt. This shirt Feels flimsy. It is not 100% cotton as the description says. The Tag say 90% and it is not Preshrunk where the Gray Maidens shirt is 100% cotton and Preshrunk. I wish this shirt was better quality I wouldn't mind paying extra for it. I do like the extra re-roll so I am giving it an extra star.

A well thought out story with some interesting characters. The combats are where this mod really shines. They are well built and can challenge veteran playing groups which is hard to find in pathfinder society mods.

This mod has well constructed encounters and opponents that actually provide a challenge. I find 90% of the pathfinders mods as easy and provide no challenge to my group.

The story is linear like all pathfinder mods and has a simplistic story. I am fine with that because the mod was actually challenging. To be honest this is what we expect from Pathfinder mods. The authors are limited to 12k words per mod. You are not going to see very good stories until that is increased.

Well detailed and almost perfect. It has no plain side and I wish it was on two sheets so I could have 1st and 2nd floor available to play on at the same time. Oh well I guess I need to buy another one. :) I still consider it 5 stars.
