NOOOOOO!!! The dead rise! Stop the horror!

Since this seems to be a null zone as far as arcane magic goes there isn't much I can do.

I cast teleport, attempting to get out of this godforsaken place.

Not really sure.

I cast Teleport and get us there in a couple of seconds.

I say we get to the cleric's home town and start some fires. Big ones. Lots of them.
BTW, I'll just cast teleport and get us there immediatley.

Sorry about my abscence.
I say come over here. Form a circle around me and I shall teleport us to the Pig.
I cast Teleport

I'll cast meteor swarm on my turn.

I step backwards and drink a healing potion.
16 points damage healed. I'm up to 39 hit points.

Who is first in initiative order? My initiative is 8.

I'm still paralyzed right?

Don't know where Valen is, at this point you should probably NPC him for this round.

By the way, are we playing with the rule that states that if you take more than half of your hit point total in damage in a single round you have to make a Fortitude save or die? It is somewhere around pg. 20 in the DMG.

Actually the Axiomatic trait just deals more damage against those of choatic alignment (like me incidentally, I think I may have typed that in wron on my character sheet). It deals no extra damage to those of lawful alignment.

So I'm paralyzed. Does that mean that I'm just hovering there or have I fallen to the ground?

Assuming I'm still in the air I cast Greater Invisibility on myself and then fly in the direction of the leader.
If I'm on the ground then I cast Time Stop and prepare to cast another spell.

I'm pretty sure that Overland Flight doesn't end when I take damage. By the way there is someone in the General Discussion Forum with a thread labeled 'Yo' who has an epic level character that they want to play.

I begin to cast another spell, soon a swirling vortex of energy appears and I step into the Teleportation effect...just kidding.

I seem uniterested in the talk of gods and I say "While I am fascinated by this talk of various gods and ideals of worship we have more pressing matters at hand. We must get to the tavern that the cleric mentioned for, although I do not trust him, he does present an interesting opportunity to test my arcane might against a worthy foe. I suggest that we begin. if no one has any objections I will cast Overland Flight which should get us there relativley quickly."

Sorry I still haven't gotten an updated character sheet in, its taking me a while but I'm almost done.

"Yes it is my doing. I brought us here so that we may avoid being incinerated by the pit fiends. I intend to teleport us closer to our destination. I chose this spot becuase it is far enough aay from an ocean that we would not appear over the open sea should my aim not be true."
I'll cast Greater Teleport To bring us as close to the City of Shade as I can. Being new to FR I don't know where it is. Could someone let me know where I should look?

No! I control at least the general location to which I Plane Shift to. I chose the middle of the Amtar Forest. I arrive within 53 miles of the middle of the Amtar Forest.

The description of the spell does not say that I must make any such check, I must merely roll 5d% and appear that many miles in a random direction (DM's choice as to where) from my destination.

I pull out a small forked metal rod and begin to gesture and speak arcane phrases. Soon another portal appears, as close to all of my comrades as possible. Then I jump through the portal that I just created, with the intended destination, the Forest of Amtar in mind. I arrive 53 miles of target.

With a few gestures time begins to slow down for me.
Reflex 33. Natural 20! Time Stop, 4 rounds. I move towards the portal.

Wanna trade for my wand of Lightning Bolt (CL10)? Don't we both feel silly?

I do feel silly, lets trade.

Sorry if my last post doesn't make sense. What I mean is 81 damage to the one closest to me and then 41 points damage to the rest of them, as long as there are 23 or fewer skeletons.

Initiative: 21
On my turn I cast Chain Lightning.
81 points damage to the closest one and then 42 points of damage to 22 the rest of them (if there are less than 22 of them). All damage is Electricity. Booyah!

I will update Kazir and send the character sheet in soon.

Oops, I just realized that I have 3 cure moderate wounds potions and a wand of cure moderate wounds that I bought for some reason (I can't use it). Can anyone cast divine spells? If so I give the wand to them.

We get to go up two levels?

Can't help you then
I begin to scan the buildings on God street, looking for the temple to Kelemvor.

How?

Owww I cast Greater Shout at the remaining foes.

39 points of sonic damage. Foes are deafened and stunned for 13 rounds. Fortitude DC 29 to negate stunning and halve damage and halve the duration of the deafness.

Here are my save results
Fort +26
Fort +24
Ref +29
Ref +18
Ref +24

I don't have my character sheet with me right now, I will post my save results when I get to my computer, three or four hours from now.
I am 60ft away from our foes. I begin to make arcane gestures of power and then more balls of frost streak outwards towards our foes, all focused on the aspect of Bel.
All foes must make a DC 29 Reflex save. Half damage even if they suceed. Bel automatically takes 40 points bludgeoning damage. 216 cold damage on failed save, 108 on successful save.

Do they see us(famous last words)?

Gate

I begin to cast another spell, making strange gestures and
then a twisting vortex of energy appears before me. I shout "Its a gateway to the City of Shade. Lets go." and then step through.

I search my memory for information on where we are.

Knowledge (the Planes) 32

I follow him being as stealthy as I can. Once we are 50ft away from the melee I begin to cast another spell. My hand appears to be wreathed in frost and four small white spheres form and then rise from my outstrechted hand and fly towards the battle. Then I continue to run after my companions.

I cast Comet Swarm which is like Meteor Swarm except that it deals cold damage. All creatures within 40ft of the center of the melee need to make a DC 28 Reflex save or take 108 points of cold damage each. Even if they succeed they take 54 points of cold damage.

Oops

I feel the mindflayer's eyes on my back and turn. Suddenly the dislike that I earlier felt for him boils over and I began to make arcane gestures with my hands and speak ancient words of power. Suddenly four spheres of light streak outwards from my hand and hit the mindflayer in a stunning blast of flame.

26 points bludgeoning damage (no save). Make four Reflex saves for the midflayer and for anyone within 40ft of him. How I love Meteor Swarm.

I stand quitley behind Londer, (I have been following him the entire time) ready to show the old man a spell if Londer's does not impress him.

I relay the information held on the charred parchment to my companions.
"It seems as though we are presented with a divergence of paths. Shall we go into the vast labrynth of the Underdark or shall we ignore this possibly critical alternative route? Since our mission involves a cleric of Cyric then perhaps we should follow this new path presented to us. It could of course, also be a trap but perhaps the risk is one worth taking. I have many powerful spells prepared and would be happy to excercise my arcane might upon some foul denizen of an evil plane. I suggest that we follow the path into the Underdark although I will of course follow the consensus of the group."

What path is outlined on the paper? Does it lead into the Underdark?

I look around the hut and then pick up the peice of paper, attempting to decipher the text.

Kazir steps forward and says "In my travels to other plans and in my encounters with summoned beings I have learned the tongue fo teh Devils. What shall I ask it?"

Does the Narzugon have any distinguishing markings that would indicate which of the Lords he served? What does the Nightmare do?

I sigh at Valin's indelicacy and lack of stealth and then follow him, trying to be quite and mentally reviewing his knowledge of the planes.

Kazir readies a staff and prepares for combat.
