Well, I know where I'll be putting some of my skill point when we level up, assuming Kauul lives to reach 4th. lol [signs] Spoiler: [/signs]
"Sorry, I was trained to be a land based combat-engineer. I assure you I'll learn as quick as I can." [signs] Spoiler: [/signs]
"I'm sorry to hear. Organizations can be like that at times.
Anyways, show me these maps and I'll see if I can drive you crazy with my lack of knowledge!" Kauul laughs a little and slaps Jace lightly on the back. Knowledge:Arcana to see if Kauul can figure out the navigational maps - 1d20+8=16 Lynora de Trevante wrote:

Kauul grins while patting his falchion.
"Basic astronomy, I hope so. Regarding navigation, I'm sorry to admit I know very little. However, I am always willing to learn anything I can. A sharp mind is deadlier than any blade, even mine." [signs] Spoiler: [/signs]
"So tell me Mr. d'Aronte, how did an arcanist come to be a ships navigator?" Tells Jace about his history if asked. What skill are you placing Astronomy under? Kauul walks over to Jace and looks the man up and down checking him over for combat readiness. "I Kauul, follow you now." [signs] Spoiler: [/signs]
"I do hope you sign as well, it will make things on board far easier. My limited vocalization capabilities are due to an injury I received some years ago and I have yet to acquire the funds needed to have the wound properly healed." [signs] Spoiler: [/signs]
"I must say, I'm a little surprised you can sign as well, but only a little. I had already made the offer to Sanura and was just waiting for time to begin actually teaching her.
Also, I forgot to say, I'd like to stay on and work for now, but I would like the option to make my final stay or depart choice after seeing how well the ship is run as a whole. Quick has heard of you, but I know only what I've witnessed so far. I do thank you for taking us onboard and will be happy to assist where I am able." *bows slightly while keeping one hand on his sword and his eyes on Gracie* Kauul sheathes his sword, drops to his knees and casts mending on the boats damage. Strength check: 1d20+2=9, Profession (sailor) check: 1d20=8, Fortitude save: 1d20+4=10 *grunt*
hehe, Arioch got his post in before me, so now I have to roll everything over.
Don't know how much it'll help, but: Swim to help get back to the boat::1d20+6=22, Strength to get in back in the boat :1d20+2=19, Profession (sailor) 1d20=16. Yep, whole lotta good there. hehe, figures Reflex save: 1d20+6=12, Fort save: 1d20+4=16 looks like I'm going for a swim: 1d20+6=11 Quentin Silverhome wrote:

"Sadly, I don't have any rope. I was looking forward to a new job to replenish my supplies." *to Sanura*
I admit, when I geared up in creation I expected to have certain supplies available from the ships supplies, such as rope.... A chain shirt doesn't cover the hand. And it was subdual damage, and I was already being nice about not adding in her sneak attack or hitting him in the face. Since all he got from it was a sore hand, just roll with it. And yes, the nonlethal from before had already healed. Okay boss. Quentin Silverhome wrote: Yeah, my chain shirt is mithril and light enough to sleep in without penalty. And just as a question, I had the 5 non-lethal from before. That heals pretty quickly, between the cleaning and the sleeping, has it been long enough that would have faded? Nonlethal damage heals at a rate of 1 hit point per hour per character level. So, you should be healed if it's been two or more hours since being hit.
