You keep up behind the men, unseen, One drains anther slaves, feeling yet another bowl, twelve such bowls sit on a long low table now. The second man puts the iron to a mans wounds and the man screams.

If ya plan to attack this will be a surprise round, who ya going after?

The one further away from the screaming man (hopeing the noise covers up the shiving)

sneaking back into the hall she looks into the cells. Some look like they could walk, some look deathly pale and thin, all seem to bear scars of an iron, some of them many such scars. She counts maybe 10 she thinks can walk on there on.

"Head out that way and go ta the dock's and a ship called the sea Wyvern once there tell them Karkalla sent ya and let them know what is happening here." she whispers pointing towards the direction of the exit

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla's hands go for her crossbow.....before realising she left it on the ship looking around she examins the people chained up in cells(do they look capable of moving on there own)

Spending much of the second day watching the house there was little activity. The Bald man never came back and the house remained dark with no light from the shutters and the heavy curtains. A little after dark you did notice two men leading a group of people in chains into the side cellar. The cellar opens and they vanish inside with the heavy door closing soon after.

Seeing the group in chains and having her curiosity raised Karkalla heads towards the cellar door and tries to open the door

Daurros and Finn go to see the "guest" in the brig as the ship comes to life in the early light.

I'm Assuming Karkalla went along as well since Finn seemed to want her to Also if there had been enough time Karkalla would have cased out the bald guys house for a while but I assume short of breaking in (which she is not going to do) she wont learn that much.

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Seeing that she planned to talk to Ardanto anyway

Karkalla seeing Ardanto's state heads over "Are ya all right ya don't look very well?"

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla will hand over the belongings she knows belonged to the changeling she then brings Anvers hiring of guards to the others attention.

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Ardanto Valanto wrote:
Even Ardanto raises his eyebrows at Daurros's comment, Cecil would raise his if he had any. Despite his doubts, Ardanto once again refuses to be involved in any decision making, he slightly shrugs his shoulders and takes his leave. You can hear his half of the conversation as he heads up the stairs.

"What's gotten inta him?"

Daurros Erdai wrote:

Daurros looks to the others, and whispers out of Fathom's hearing. "Again, I do not believe she is our saboteur. If only because the saboteur would be far more lucid, and I refuse to accept a madwoman could fool us for so long. Still, depending on her skills, she might be useful as a crewman. She was able to sneak aboard undetected, after all.

"Ya want ta invite a crazy woman who conveniently shows up from nowhere just after the last spy leaves and trespasses on the boat on as part of the crew?" Karkalla whispers sounding less than frilled with the idea

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

"Well what are we going to do with her?" Karkalla seems more than a little mistrusting of the strange elf.

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

One thing Karkalla would want is more ammo for her repeater would she be able to get it here and if so how much would it cost?

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

On the way there Karkalla will tell the group what she did yesterday about following the changeling, The exchange at the shrine and where the bald man seems to have holed up.

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Deciding she is probably not going to learn anything else (short of causing a big scene) Karkalla reluctantly returns to the ship.

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

She will head outside and watch from there for a while then (Hour or two at most)

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Not long if there is nothing to hide behind or In.

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Deciding that trying to pick the door would not be a smart idea Karkalla instead resorts to waiting a while to see if anyone emerges.

Stealth

1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla decides to open the door and have a quick look inside (more to make sure there is someone in there than anything else)

Stealth

Heading over to the door Karkalla try s to discretely either listen or peek in

She can make out nine doors on this floor with a right side bend at the halls far end. The doors are lined even four on each side with the nith being at the end of the hall.

Ok guards, deep in thought, Ardanto and Finn are talking to the intruder and Toxim has dealt with the Hobgoblins, anything else yall want to do ?

Karkalla begins to search for any clue of where the changeling went

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla will try and sneak in through the back way

Stealth

1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26

Would a lack of people going to and from the shrine seem odd or is it just something she wouldn't have a lot of knowledge about

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla has a quick look around the outside for a possible other entrance

Perception

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19

If unable to find one she will attempt to sneak in the front door (among the crowd assuming it is a shrine open to the public)

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Odd I could have sworn I had put in Stealth and perception checks just after my post where I said I was following Dyndan (since generally the entire point of tailing someone is not to be seen)

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla decides to tail Dyndan in order to find out what she is doing and whether she was telling the truth or not

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

"What is the package anyway?" Karkalla asks "Looks like a metal block ta me."

Ardanto Valanto wrote:
I have been assuming this was not happening in the captains cabin, am I incorrect?

Far as I know it is not happening in the captains cabin although a lot of the crew think he/she/it is in the captain's cabin with you.

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla gets the silver box and returns to the others "Daurros can ya have a look over this and see if it's magical or something?" She hands him the block

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla sighs before heading down to the hold to check the cabinet again this time for the secret compartment.

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla's head snaps round as Daurros stomps in turning to face the prisoner she waits for the reply

Sense motive

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

If possible adding a hero point

1d6 ⇒ 6

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla stares at the letter for a few minutes thinking that a note about dance lessons seems rather odd before putting all the other items back. She returns to Finn and Daurros "Well I've had a look around her things and I haven't been able ta find anything to incriminating and more strange than anything else an unmarked trunk with some weapons and a letter that appears ta be dance lessons but that's about it." She tells them when out of earshot and handing the two the note she found. "Oh and a few different identification papers some thieves tools and a lot of clothes and Jewlery as well."

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla will have a proper read of the sasserine letter

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla looks over the items and gives the correspondences a read over.
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21

She will also give the key a try in the (very unlikely) case that it opens one of the other two remaining chests.

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla attempts to use the key on each of the chests

(Female Shifter Rogue 9)

Karkalla will go through the manifest looking either for Dyndan's trunk or a trunk that shouldent be there. If anyone asks what she is doing she will just say she is making sure they have all of Anvers belongings to take to the other ship.
