I purchased the pdf and I thoroughly enjoyed the excellent work put into making this concept work. I actually found this while pondering how on earth to make a Bilbo Baggins-style character work (he's called a burglar, but he just makes good use of magical equipment and tactical thinking--he's exactly the kind of character you could make with this book!).
I do have a question for the author, and I hope you can find the time to get back to me on it. If not, that's understandable, but I was wondering about your process on coming up with jobs, and the possibility of extrapolating your process out to new jobs. For instance, I can't imagine that being a forester is outside of the purview of a commoner. Similarly, an author or a barrister. Is there some kind of rule of thumb you kept in mind for coming up with the expanded class skill lists and commoner weapon choices for these jobs, or did you just wing it? It seems well-planned, and I would greatly appreciate some tips on that if you have any!
Thanks for the hard work that was obviously put into this product. I think it's exactly what my gaming group could use as a vacation from Paizo adventure paths like Wrath of the Righteous (in fact, it's the exact opposite and I love it)!
