Solid PFS scenario with some flaws

I have no deep feelings about this scenario but since it doesn't have a review yet, here goes... would give it 3½ if I could.

The good:
Really liked the setting of this scenario.

Spoiler:

Storming an old cathedral was an interesting environment, and although the plot is actually somewhat railroaded in the usual PFS way, it at least gave the players the feeling of added freedom.

The first encounter is fun and challenging, and the end boss also seemed interesting, although my group managed to disarm him, making him completely useless (I think that in the end he managed all of zero damage on the party).

The bad:

Spoiler:

Monster with hardness in Tier 1-2. Not very dangerous as it didn't deal much damage, but such a grind to kill.

The rogues are supposed to be marked with 'R' on the map, but the map doesn't have them anywhere. Guess they are really really sneaky.

Fun, if railroaded

This is probably the most railroaded scenario I've run so far in PFS. That said, it had a few well-designed encounters (besides some "meh" level ones), and an interesting atmosphere that added a lot to the overall experience.

When reading this scenario, I was thinking to give this 3 stars, but the players really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next part.

Spoiler:

Played this on subtier 1-2 with 6 PCs, most level 2. In the final encounter, we had one character dead and another one down at negative HPs (although the death was only because the PCs played themselves into a situation where the only reasonable thing for the boss to do was to coup de grace the paralyzed character left standing next to him). This encounter has a fairly high TPK potential for level 1 groups.

Best fun so far in PFS

Mostly echoing the other reviews here, but this really was pretty awesome. The only real complaint is that there are too many encounters to leave time for the goblins which are the driving force of the scenario.

Spoiler:

The most memorable thing in my first run was in the first encounter. The PCs had the Goblins tied from their hands with a rope which was also tied to one PC (yes, the goblins were behaving badly because of this, but the PCs decided to do it even at the cost of slowing down).

The PC on the rope got shot to negative HPs before even getting a turn, prompting the bloodthirsty goblins to charge towards the tower, dragging the unconscious PC (who luckily stabilized) behind them in the snow. The goblins, moving at half speed, took double moves, making it hard for the gnome healer to catch them and get the PC up.

Decent, not outstanding

Ran this on Friday. It starts really interestingly and the players got nicely drawn into the initial mystery. Unfortunately, it degenerates into something quite generic - in fact, more so than the other Season 3 Tier 1-5 scenarios so far.

Most encounters were interesting with the exception of a poorly designed one that could be impossible for some groups, and just plain tedious for most others. Another one might also be quite deadly for first-level groups, although my six-player mostly-second-level party managed it without much trouble.
