I am trying to build a character for a PBP game, starting level 2-4. The setting is designed to be high fantasy and we have been offered gestalt, not so much for optimization as flavor. There is a race of nature themed dwarves that get the "fey touched" template (+4 dex and other goodies) I was looking at being an archer ranger, with a gestalt side to help. DRUID: Will save, full Animal companion, Full casting.

I am building this character for a lvl 12 PVP tournament. I have been told we will fight 1on1 on an island with terrain being a factor. i guess the idea is we have to find each other first. I decided to go with a huntsmaster cavalier to try something different, utilizing teamwork to my advantage. once i issue my challenge my entire team gets +12dam pe hit. I went halfling cause my only real goal is to hit often and not get hit. also perhaps utilizing stealth acrobatics and perception/Survival. I am thinking 2 dogs, (each lvl6 +boon=10)(or 1 lvl 12 dog that i ride? although i prefer the two) Two weapon fighting chain and all the huntsmaster goodies like step up and teamwork feats. Thats about all i got for now i need help finding all the great gear feats and tactics that i can utilize in this campaign, please help.

The Builds:
This build utilizes focused defense and crane style for amazing AC and then turns that back on the attacker. later we focus on Stunning fist and elemental damage while trying to keep AC relative.
1)Improved initiative, Weapon Focus (Unarmed)(M)Dragon Style
This build focuses more on offense using more of my WIS to do damage while giving me other utility options. My AC is decent at early levels and reaches its highest potential later. Please tell me what you think about these ideas Remember there are NO ITEMS so resistances are somewhat low and abilities raise VERY slowly. It's a competiton there will be PVP. Questions:

Psychokinetic Discharge (Su)
A deadly fist of 1st level learns how to take the energy he has charged into his unarmed strikes and release it as a blast of energy at an opponent. As a ranged attack, the deadly fist can make an unarmed attack at an opponent. The attack deals damage as normal for the deadly fist's unarmed attacks. The range increment of the attack is 10', but is considered to be a projectile instead of a thrown weapon, so the attack has a maximum range of 10 increments instead of 5. Whether or not the attack hits, the deadly fist's unarmed attacks are no longer empowered and he must take the normal time to empower them. The text for discharge says it is an unarmed attack. does this mean i can use it with Stunning Fist? Snake Fang?
I am fairly certain Armored Blade can go with Deadly Fist. that said. Wow i love Snake Style. (Sense motive 3 ranks, do class skill ranks count?) that pumps my AC into Ludicrous.

I am looking for advice on a build: The game is a gladiator style game and every character must use monk(any archetype) as the gestalt class. we will be starting at level 4 with a 20 point buy. I immediately jumped on soulknife hoping to make a WIS based Deadly Fist. with so many options i need help sorting through them all into one build: Stunning Fist: I have a high wisdom Id like to max this and make it my signature move (Mantis Style? Martial artist?) Mind Armor: with the improved armor bladeskill this is +4 enchantable armor that counts as wearing nothing. (i think ill need to take this, unfortunately its a move action) Flurry of Blows/Fists: DM declared that i cannot use ki for an additional attack using flurry of fists, so either keep FoB or drop FoB and Ki. (MoMS and Martial artist maybe)
Well I would imagine ranged should be my focus, it fits and its something id like to try. with the slayer talents and my natural feats i should have no problem building a competent archer. I just wonder if there are some unknown(to me)feats I should consider. We have been given a low (15pt) point buy so countering MAD is important, another reason to focus on a dex based archer.
Hello i am looking for some advice on building a lvl 10 STRIX Archer. For an evil campaign against a human kingdom. Originally i was thinking Ranger/Rogue but my Dm is allowing the ACG so i thought i might give SLAYER a try. At first glance it seems to give me the things i want from both ranger and rogue with the use of talents i can get trapfinding and Ranger combat style feats. I lose out on FE Human but i guess i can live with that. What about Ranger2/Slayer8 i get my FE and the possibility to use wands at some point. What are some ways to capitalize on the Strix flight. im figuring as an archer i can go mainly dex to keep fly skill up for hovering. but it would be cool to swoop down and attack sometimes (maybe grapple and Fly away?)
