I played a paladin of Shelyn once, in CotCT. He started out as a thug and face extortionist who turned to Shelyn... but that ended up meaning that he was particularly vain and intimidating. He was always true to his word, but he tended to be a little creepily gleeful when punishing the wicked.

Yes, this is definitely one of the best out there.

As an odd side effect of my schedule in my adult life, I haven't been able to play any character above 5th level since second edition. As a result, I am very strongly focused on the lower levels and what can be done there. I am very thankful that this item is highly thematic, can be used by a low-level party without issue, and is simple, straightforward, and beautiful.

This is perfect as an addition. I love it.
