Joe is an easy going farm boy who is kinda tired of the farm life. He's ready to make his own way in the world. Spent all his years growing up working the land and figures enough is enough. Let's go see what's out there. The road has been calling him anyway.
What Joe doesn't realize is that his farming ability isn't as good as it should be. It's not because he can't do the work or even that he doesn't do it well, it's just that he's bad about getting around to it. He would spend most of his time daydreaming of "whupping up on some baddies". Obviously that interfered with his work. So his father figured it was time to send him on his way, seeing how Joe was never gonna lose that daydreaming desire. And as much as his mother didn't want him to go, she knew it'd be good for him. Time for him to grow up, they agreed. Only problem was, they needed his hand on the farm. They couldn't afford to actually let him go. While his sisters were useful, they weren't nearly as good a hand as Joe when he put his mind to it. So, they kept him around, hoping he might straighten up one day... or possibly be able to find another who's willing to work and work for minimum.
But, it wasn't too long after there was a work notice out looking for hired help. Needless to say, Joe jumped at the chance. And seeing how his parents really wanted him to get a taste of real life, they just couldn't refuse. "You know he's gonna get himself killed, right?" his mother would say to her husband who would look up from his whittling and reply back, "Prob'bly. But we'll never know if he don't go, now will we?"
Description: Joe is 20 years old, 6'4, and 230lbs. He sports jet black hair, brown eyes and a country born accent. He's got a real friendly outlook on life and generally just likes people. Except when he gets mad. Which is very rare. He has four older siblings, which happen to be all girls. Country girls, nonetheless. Needless to say, Joe lived a "rough" life growing up. :)
