Axeily . . ." she laughs, "cuz I have an axe! Very funny." Karrin laughs a tad longer then the pun should have allowed (if it should have been laughed at in the first place), but she seems easily amused by simple things.

"Tell me when your ready to go again," she says when she's finished laughing, "and don't try distracting me with your wit, I'm hear to rumble, and I'm gonna get my game face back on." Karrin's face becomes dead serious, "Raw, I'm gonna destroy you!" she growls between clenched teeth.

Joachim smiles wryly

"I am glad my humor is better than my swordwork."

Joachim glances at his side wound. Aside from a rent in the leather, the wound looks closed.

"I am ready, Karrin."

Joachim spins his two weapons in a clashing cage of steel.

Combat!

Well, no hits there ... looks like ol' Joachim just stabbed hisself LMAO

"You need a minute Joachim?" she asks.

Joachim bows to Karrin, wincing as the rapidy knitting flesh at his side pinches together.

"A moment of rest would be most appreciated, Karrin. I will say you have won the first round handily, or should I say ..."Joachim eyes the big weapon dripping his blood in Karrin's hands. " ... Axeily?"

Had forgotten the DR 10/FH 2 Guy. Lets try another shot after Joachim heals a bit.

Joachim sizes up the slender Tiefling girl and prepares to fight.

ROUND ONE ... FIGHT!

Joachim weaves and spins his two weapons, coming in high with his slender rapier and punching low with his dagger when Karrin's guard rises to match the sword's path.

The dagger scratches Karrin's abdomen, the tip just slicing her skin and causing a small weep of blood. Joachim registers this as Karrin's greataxe rakes his side, carving flesh from his ribs

Joachim bows over Karrin's hand, brushing it with his lips

"An honor to make your acqauintance Karrin. Shall we go to the fighting pit?"

Karrin stops and thinks, "wait we better have some rules . . . melee weapons only, if anyone draws blood we wait a minute, no biting or kicking below the belt . . . oh ya and no stabbing in the eyes or neck just in case . . ." Karrin says, clearly struggling to think of any more rules, "best eight out of thirteen rounds, rounds being four minutes, drawing blood wins a round, causing someone to yield wins a round, in a round with no deceive winner most hits wins the round . . . oh ya and cheating causes you to loose a round."

"Those seem quite reasonable, Miss?"

Joachim pauses for a moment.

"I am most desolate that I do not know your name."

A tall dark man dressed in leather armor and a large brimmed hat approaches the table. He carries a well worn rapier scabbard and dagger sheath at his belt.

"Good day to you all."

The dark man sweeps his hat of in an elaborate bow, revealing a thin dark visage.

"Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Joachim Fernao, and I could not help but overhear that there was a call for a sparring partner."

Joachim glances over at Karrin, and inclines his head in her direction.

"It would be my great honor to stand with you and perform the Steel Dance. Would you be interested?"
