Jezebel is at full health, and moves again to the catapult to fire on the next wave of intruders once they are in sight.

Off and on today and tomorrow. Feel free to roll for me when you are ready for phase 2. Engineer is at +9, +10 if someone casts guidance for the shooting

Jezebel bursts into flame, and remembers her training, so stops, drops, and rolls.

Likewise satisfied that the fires are out, Jezebel follows the brave fire resistant inquisitor, attempting to use him as soft cover if necessary. "Sorry, your armor will do better than my skin. . . " with her wand at the ready in case someone should come into her line of sight. Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Jezebel, realizing she has little else to contribute at the moment, focuses on extinguishing the fire.

Jezebel moves to the back to the archers in the light house to use her wand. No sense in letting them get more burning arrows into the building!

Jezebel makes a quick assessment of the fire, K. Engineer: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29, and relays her findings to the group as she makes her way back into position to rain magical missiles onto the enemies.

"FIRE!" the wizard yells at the top of her lungs, gesturing at the fire before running down the stairs.

Jezebel rushes to the kitchen to fetch water to begin dousing the flames. "We need a fire line!"

I think we need our preceptors and ranged on the walls to keep an eye on the enemy, to kill the damn archers, and locate the ones sneaking around back. . . . We should get the non-ranged, non perception types on bucket brigade!

Jezebel heads back inside the house to the bedroom above the murder holes, and tries to get a line of sight on the advancing soldiers while manning the varied pots of boiling liquid. If she can get such a visual, she activates her wand again.

Jezebel recalls the danger the officer posed last time, so takes a step back and away then fires her wand at the archers below while she waits for the man to come into her view.

"Perhaps they would be easier to shoot if you could see them easier? More importantly, maybe their arrows will stop if they cannot see us. . ."

I Jezebel spots the Leader, Glitterdust on him, else. . .

Jezebel pulls some fine glittering sand from her pouch and blows. As the dust settles around the soldiers, they are all covered in a glowing outline!

"How about that age old clerical guidance?" Jezebel asks Fendahl.

The mage asks for help rolling the barrel of oil into the bedroom above the murder holes.
If they get through, we should use this, and throw down a torch. Jezebel then tries to locate some of the house's lighting for that exact purpose, making sure to have extra fire sources just in case, and tries to locate a kitchen pot sufficient to hold the whale oil. If she can, she brings that to a boil as well.

Jezebel yells down, "do we have any clerics? Someone who can create water? We should deal with those sparks before they become fires. Wizards can do amazing things with a little fire . . . "

Pointy stick to the thigh, or boulder to the head. If I had to randomly guess, I would bet boulder does a better job of killing enemies. The catapult overlooks we well. How about the archers and I fling boulders until the catapult becomes useless, then you switch to arrows?

In the mean time, Jezebel tries to fix and partially fuel the light house, it only needs to work a couple hours.

"This time, I think we should put three on the catapult to get as many shots off as we can. The more we kill on the field, the less fly over the wall. Also, getting this light fueled so we can see who is coming might be a good idea. Lets check that store room for any fuel. Any ideas on the lens?"

Jezebel will take a full minute to explore the storage room, hoping someone else will tag along.

Take 20 on perception, storage = 22.

Jezebel fires her wand once more, then rushes to check Li and her guest between the waves of enemies.

Jezebel continues her climb back up to within line of sight to the officer, pointing her wand at either a soldier in the pit, or the officer, whichever happens to be in view as she finishes her movement.

Jezebel relays Jory's message, "The leader is with Jory, at the at the top of the lighthouse! Reinforcements are needed as soon as possible!"

Jezebel ist at the catapult tower. As soon as the Soldiers hit the front door, Jezebel will cast 'Create Pit' underneath them, such that the edge of the pit is right at the front door. Once the spell is cast, Jezebel will immediately retreat to the bedroom with the Murder Holes.

My Engineering is +9, so that makes a 23, 15, 14, 29. I assume that since this is a skill check, a 20 is not a crit. The two misses have an excellent chance to hit if I get Aid from Others. Are the Kitchen Help able to assist? If not . . . Please everyone? They wouldn't put it here if we weren't to use it. . .

Send the kitchen staff to me, they can help load, I will fire the catapult. Those with nothing better to do than to wait until the enemy approaches closer might find the catapult a good investment of their time.

Jezebel rushes up the steps, and with help, loads and fires the catapult as many times as humanly possible before the enemy is close enough to make the catapult ineffective.

Jezebel nods, "I will get the fires stoked, meet me in the room, and I will make sure to use any and all wands you may have on you, so long as they are within my ability to use."

Once everything is ready in the bedroom, Jezebel casts "Mage Armor" on herself as well.

"As soon as they threaten to breach the main doors, I will cast Enlarge Person on those who will gain the most from it. Once they are in the room below the murder holes, we will dump the boiling oil on them, then I will hit them with Glitterdust. If we are lucky and they are all packed in there tight as sardines, I will create a pit underneath them so you front liners have a better chance at dealing with the enemy one on one. I don't know how many waves of assault there will be, but the harder we shut down each one, the better it will be for us all.

"Master, I assure you I am not Aspis. I have faith in your ability to make that decision on your own. As you can see, I am completely unarmed aside from my little shield here. My back is completely yours to do with as you please, but at the moment I have to focus on keeping you and Master Li alive."

"Once we are all as strengthened by magic as is likely, we should get to the siege engine, and look for targets. It would serve us well to destroy as many as possible before it comes to man to man combat, eh?[ I believe Master Tsundo has the right of it, Aspis are likely as not the source of this trouble."

Many of the letters are substitution for the same letter, for example here, in every case, an "i" means "a" and vice versa, but here, b means "f" in all cases, but "c" means L in Locker, "f" means "c" in locker, so there are stray letters. You can kind of jiggle the words in your head once you are close though. . ."

Jezebel begins to rush off to stoke the fires underneath the boiling liquid in kettles above the murder-holes. As she starts up the steps, Jezebel points out, "That certainly looks bad. Might I suggest someone bar the doors and someone else mount the tower and get the catapult ready?"

"I am a member of the sub-sect of the Pathfinders known as the Silver Crusade. Our primary goal is to help those in most need. We do our best to ensure that our fellow Pathfinders are safe, supported, and taken care of. I have never been asked to kill anyone for any reason, and generally, I try to avoid such things, when ever possible. I just wish more people would endeavor to make it possible. What can you tell me about your order, Sir? Perhaps you would like to speak to the head of my order? It would be a great honor. I am certain that the goals of an organization named for the noble Kirin would have much in common with my simple group. I am not blessed with a honeyed tongue, but perhaps my companions could make this make more sense."

Jezebel changes into her courtesan outfit, wearing her hamaki underneath as a corset. As she and the others prepare, she repeatedly casts 'Prestidigitation" to ensure everyone is clean, neat, and all their garments are in order. She also uses the spell to make sure her own hair, and anyone else who asks hair, is perfect.

Jezebel sits quietly and listens, not speaking a word until asked by Tsueno, "My job is simply to be well informed sir. I read anything I can get my hands on, and I work very hard to keep abreast of important world developments, such as this meeting, Master Tsueno." As she finishes, Jezebel bows politely to let the others know she has finished, and to show respect to the two Masters sitting at the table.

If Jezebel is prompted, or asked for further information, she will relay any information she has (the polite parts only) about Tsuesno back to him to demonstrate. Otherwise she will share with her fellow Pathfinders after the tea ceremony when they have privacy.

Being done with the murder holes, Jezebel check on the progress of boiling liquids to be places in the bedroom, the moves to supervise the construction of the catapult, using the remains of the bedroom furniture.

"Perhaps one of you who is slightly more likable than me should ask Venture Captain Li if she might be able to spare some of her laborers and tools to speed up our efforts, and to bring ammunition up for this thing, once it is rebuilt."

Jezebel will freely share any knowledge she gains with her companion(s).

'I agree, we should get started on the major projects as soon as possible. I suggest catapult, then murder holes, then stuff that will burn or melt those beneath the murder holes."

Jezebel relates her findings to the group, and offers to supervise the construction of the catapult.

"if there is a large scale attack, I think having such an instrument would be most beneficial. I believe we should strip the bedroom's furnishings, and set up murderholes in the bedroom floor.."

Having made her offer, she lets the rest inspect as they see fit, reminding them, "We may not have much spare time, so lets quickly come to an agreement on what should be done. Say meet here again in fifteen minutes?"

If everyone is in agreement, Jezebel heads to the kitchen to look for large pots, and as much oil or other flammable fuel possible as well as spare large kettles, pots, or other vessels that might be used to make vats of boiling oil for the murder holes. Barring that, stuff that can be ignited then poured down on the enemies.

"Of course. I suggest we take a pass through the building and the grounds making sure all is clear before we get readied for the festivities. " Turning to the venture captain, Jezebel asks, "Is there somewhere out of your way that would be best served as our staging area? I would like to find some high ground in case of trouble, and ensure the general area is secure. In the mean time, we need a place to store our gear.

Glancing around at the building, Jezebel tries to locate any weak places, and determine whether or not there are likely any hidden rooms, a basement, or easily penetrated places in the walls. She also checks for more defensible areas, and defenses that may be in place but in need of upgrade or repair.

I am flipping through the UE, and I am so tempted to buy an oragami swarm just because this is the last of the LL. Somehow a flock of origami birds seems a good send off.

"Pshaw! Chairs are evil and not to be trusted. . . err. Thanks for the boost!"

No idea what if any check is needed to open the vent, just in case Jezebel will use the afore mentioned letter opener from the desk as a screwdriver and open the vent. Open Vent: 1d20 ⇒ 19

Jezebel quickly relays the information she has at hand to Venture-Captain Li, being as polite and quiet as possible while ensuring that both Li and the party are informed.

Jezebel glances around for some of the delicious plum wine that was available at the last festival, just in case such exists on a normal day . . .

Jezebel bows deeply, "I am honored Venture Captain Li. I have not seen your lovely face since you last asked me to fetch a certain jade sword for you. I hope the time has been kind, and rewarding."

Once the formalities have been taken care of, Jezebel asks, "How may we be of service to you, Mistress?"

This is Jezebel Savet checking in. I realize I am playing up. Like most teleportation spec wizards, I focus on Conjuration. Level 3 means I have access to second level spells! Yay!

My first task will be to hand my CLW wand to whoever is capable of using such a thing on me. My second task is to answer various and varied Knowledge based questions. (most at +9, some at +10)

I was away today. Is it sage to assume that I am one you have heard from?
