How come we don't hear a lot about Fire Giants in Golarion? Are there very many organized Fire Giants of note? Will we see any make an appearance in an AP anytime in the future you can forsee? I think I vaguely remember them showing up in one the installments of legacy of Fire ever so briefly.

I think so, cause he does have a facebook page though.

I personally don't think that Evolution should be taught as factual, when it is a theory (that cannot be proven given our current science). I missed this the first time around. Thank you LazarX for catching it.
Stardust...please, just spend a little time finding out what a scientific theory actually is, okay, because my diplomacy dike is wearing thin. Every time this, or similar topics comes up, have to explain to someone who the education system failed in the manner that it has failed you what a between the common usage term theory and a scientific theory. It is getting really old!
(Okay, you can be honest guys, what was the pool on how long it would be before I had this rant in the thread ;) ) Please allow me
Theory- (common usage)- A hypothesis proposed as an explanation; hence, a mere hypothesis, speculation, conjecture; an idea or set of ideas about something; an individual view or notion
Theory- (scientific usage)- A scheme or system of ideas or statements held as an explanation or account of a group of facts or phenomena; a hypothesis that has been confirmed or established by observation or experiment, and is propounded or accepted as accounting for the known facts; a statement of what are held to be the general laws, principles, or causes of something known or observed.

Abraham spalding wrote: TheWhiteknife wrote: Judging by the number of people who didnt know what ID meant on this thread alone, (myself included. I always thought it meant what the Catholics say) why would teaching it be a bad thing? In my high school they taught us what communism and fascism were, and lo and behold, I'm neither one. I think it's a matter of what form of each are taught too. There are multiple forms of communism -- I'm not so sure about fascism, and I know there are multiple forms of intelligent Design.
I don't mind intelligent design being taught in humanities, civic, or mythology classes (not to imply religion is a myth, simply I'm comfortable about it there) -- I kind of wish there was a 'religion 101' available to high school students that objectively (as much as possible) taught the basics of various religions as part of a civic learning function.
Though I easily recognize why this would be next to impossible to do in the current public school system (not a dig at the public schooling system either -- people always forget you get out what you put in -- I am a product of public education and am proud of that fact -- I know others that put in less and got out less, and still others that didn't put in and really didn't get out). The problem with ID is that it hasn't received the approval that evolution has. Our scientific method has a very rigorous way of finding out which theory will be excepted or not, ID has not passed that test, therefore it doesn't belong in a science classroom. I agree it could be in a philosophy of Science class or even a history of Science. But not in an actual Biology class lesson.

Why must I always work on the nice days?
I'm having one of those nights, where I hear people speak and the bad grammar is so grating I can barely stand it.

I vote for hemp grocery bags. That way when parents get done looking at exorbitant grocery bills, or the stress from dragging screaming children through a grocery store they can then sit back at home roll up the grocery bag and smoke it.

I really wish I had this problem too... Well maybe it'll make you guys feel better to know, that at my current rate of collection I will have my 3d terrain and and inside terrain finished in 2 years time. Which basically means outside of the occasional mini or my pathfinder subs I'll be done buying rpg stuff.
Just FYI there is an episode coming up called "The Doctors Wife"
If you really want to know where my 5k- 8k annual gaming budget goes,
1) Paizo subs
2) minis (mostly complete now)
3) Dwarven Forge stuff ($500- $1000 annually)
4) 3d terrain, get me roads, and some good trees and brush hell I'll sink a couple hundred easily.
Is that all the info you need?

Hi, my names' Jeremy. I'm addicted to minis. And lead. And terrain. And Hero Forge.
Hi Jeremy! First off I am addicted to Dwarven forge stuff, second I don't think it's a problem it's within my financial means currently. :P So what if I spend 5k annually on pathfinder stuff and roleplaying accessories. When I have all 3d terrain inside and out, then I'll be happy. Plus my minis collection is all but complete :P i think everyone one else isn't doing enough to add super awesome accessories to there game. When I move into my new place I get a whole gaming room!!!

Then you should love the Flagons & Dragons podcast we did last weekend. Not sure when it'll be available though. I'll definitely keep an eye out, for when it goes up.

Is Harsk really as grumpy as he looks? What about after he drinks a keg of ale?
Not gonna post anymore in that thread, I said my piece. I just hope some people find closure and that the trolls don't prosper.

I can understand the conflicted feelings, I have a feeling of delivered justice. But I take no pleasure in anyone's death. But I do hope that this news may bring some closure to the families of all the victims of the 9/11 attacks, and to the families of those who died in Afghanistan. A very horrible individual is gone, and even though i wish there had been a trial, I also know what that inevitable verdict would be.
Relaxing day off, minis painting, baking cookies, and had a nice lunch at a nice restaurant with my wonderful husband. What more could I ask for?
Is Feiya really creepy and disturbing to hang around?

I appreciate that, but I need more senators to agree with you. Or actually have a seperation of church and state. I'm of the opinion that if a religious institution chooses to get political (which admitedly needs very clear definition) then they should have their tax exempt status removed. Alternately they can just remove the exempt status entirely since religion has become such big business, but that's another rant entirly.
...
I'm a little bitter/pissed about this, as you may have guessed. Second class citizenship grates on my nerves.
Edit: I digress. Summary: I'm tired of hearing about the royal wedding. Discuss. I hope this makes you feel better, I am a married Gay man. I live in canada, in fact here in Canada Gay marriage is almost completely normalized (as in not a big deal at all). Eventually that may happen where you live, I can only hope it does.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! That is all.
So Merisiel, I will give you this scroll detailing the layout, and patrol rotation of the manor house of that stodgy and miserly nobleman Getz down in the garden district. If you'll steal me a particular item out of his house. What do you say?
Umm not funny at all, Ross has a tough job Leafar and I bet he doesn't enjoy what he has to do sometimes. Maybe we should respect his judgment, since it is his job to make judgment calls about these threads.

Finally watched "Game of Thrones" and I loved it. But I have to say it contained way to many boobs.
