bradIt's interesting. I've noticed a lot of posts ending in that statement while wandering through the rules forum. I've looked back through the books, and have noticed that a lot of basic, simple info isn't there.
I'm not sure if it was an editting issue, complacency, or what. I'm not dogging Paizo, they've put out a great product, but some simple things were very overlooked. Base save was defined in 3.0, and I guess it was just assumed to be understood when carried over. Hopefully it will be cleaned up, along with those other basic oversites, when the next printing of the Core Rulebook is put out.
I am with you on this one. I really only played the original and advanced D&D so a lot of this system is new to me.
I love the system but some things are not that clear. I think that a section just to walk you through character creation would be nice. I get most of the rest of the system but just have some questions during creation.
