I've been working with Q-workshop on our dice sets and so far I've seen prototypes for both Serpent's Skull and Carrion Crown but nothing from Council of Thieves. I believe that Serpent's Skull will be the next release but no promises. Hang in there and I'll post when I know more!

That sounds like a printing error and we should be able to send you a replacement in your next subscription shipment. I'm sure that Customer Service will get to this once the office opens back up.

Unfortunately you are corect that we do not take AMEX cards but that doesn't mean that you are SOL. You can purchase a pre-paid VISA or MC at your local grocery store and then use that to purchase whatever you want from our site. I guess you could also get someone else to buy you store credit and then you could pay them back.

The guys at Campaign Coins are reevaluating the line for determining what to re-mint and I don't have an answer on what that will be right now. We've spoken lots of times about bringing back a Starter Set in some configuration and restocking the GameMastery line but I'll know more in the coming months. Stay tuned!

I'm guessing they haven't got any bigger in the last 4 and a half years. Are they actually wooden. The picture looks more like plastic or similar.

Yep, they are still that small but I do believe that they were made from wood.

I could definitely seeing myself getting this. Is there a list of the phrases somewhere? Do we have control over which phrase is stated?

I could see how shouting "Inconceivable" or stating "As you wish" at the wrong time or to the wrong person could be perceived in a fashion not desired.

Unfortunately there is no list of phrases or a release date yet.

What's up (or down) with the release being pushed back a month? Is the same going to happen with Heroes & Monsters?

Wizkids sets the release date on these and they moved it out to November. I haven't heard anything about the Heroes & Monsters release date changing...

If this is something that has been covered, my apologies. There are a lot of posts, and I admit I haven't been following this thread.

That said, the other day I heard that Wizkids had an exclusive deal with Alliance; as a result, the Paizo pre-painted minis will only be carried through Alliance. Is this true?
Apparently some stores don't like to get their stuff through Alliance. Don't really know why, but the store down the street is apparently one of them. The owner was complaining about it, feeling Paizo was allowing itself to be strong armed by Alliance. He then made a good point: Paizo has what is probably the #1 RPG in the country & should be strong arming Alliance.
If all of this is true, I kind of have to agree. Paizo seems to be the 800 lb gorilla in the room right now, which seems like a good place to be to get others to cooperate.
I'm not in the industry, I don't know what Alliance's deal is or why some stores don't want to deal with them, I'm just curious what the situation is.

I might be able to shed a little light here for you wspatterson. Wizkids does have an exclusive distribution deal with Alliance but our partnership with Wizkids will allow us to sell to the rest of the distributors in the hobby industry. We're mainly passing along the best possible pricing we can to them (which is a little worse than the pricing they can get through Alliance) so all stores have the same access to the minis. Let your FLGS know so they can get them in their store...we received a sample of the finished product today and the look GREAT!!!!

the exclusives have been offered on here after the Cons, about the only way I've been able to pick em up.

Hoping the unavailable tag is just temporary. Usually takes a bit after the Con has pasted before online supplies are available.

Yeah, originally Bill was going to stick with the pre-orders only but we talked him into printing more and offering them through paizo.com. We really wanted to be sure that our audience had the opportunity to get them....we just had no idea that they would sell out this fast.

We are open to selling most anything as long as it relates to our core audience but when we are talking about specialty items, like juggling supplies, it makes it a more difficult proposition. There isn't enough of a crossover for us to take the risk on stocking the inventory so unfortunately we'll have to pass on this. Sorry.

I've been trying to get a Critical Fumble Deck for a few weeks now except the local stores that sell them are sold out, as well as they're unavailable on the website as well. I would rather avoid purchasing one off e-bay. Does anyone know when these will be available for purchase again?

We are expecting these to be back in stock very soon. My guess is this week or next.

Is there an estimated timeline of when this product will become available?

Unfortunately it appears that our distributor is discontinuing the Gamescapes line of products so I imagine that this will either never come out or it will come out under a different manufacturer. My gut tells me never is the correct answer here though.

I'll email the company and see if they are interested in selling through our store.

I would like to see something like this that has more of the fire clings in it.

Are the 2 sets of stairs supposed to be seperate? The one I got has the stairs together.

I've looked at the other copies we have in stock and they are all like yours. I assume that the manufacturer just didn't have room on the sheet to separate them from one another. A simple trim with some scissors will do the trick (but I imagine you've already done that). ;)

Hey Vic, are you going to open some of these cases up and sell the individual $2-5 boosters?

I'm afraid that these aren't being sold as singles and I'm a little hesitant of buying a 24-count display to sell one or two. If you can gather enough interest in this thread, then we'll be more than happy to grab a case.

I'd also like to point out that these are blind-boxed so there's no telling which of the 8 smurfs one would get.

Is there any chance you guys will have the marketing posters available for sale at the convention?

I already have the first poster and the bestiary 2 poster. Looking at getting some of the others but coming to Alaska it seems its like a 50% chance they will be damaged via mail.

Which in regards to that have you guys thought about using the triangle long boxes that are offered for Priority Mail? I think it would alleviate some of the issues for me any ways.

We should have a small selection of the posters at the show and we can always bring in specific items upon request.

Yes. I plan on having some of all of our consignment 3rd party PFRPG products at the show as well as a select group of other consignment products.

Any idea when you folks will be stocking these, or listing them in your catalog?

Yes, we will have these on paizo.com and we are waiting for our first shipment to arrive before we can create the product and make the offering. I expect them to arrive sometime next week.

I'm not 100% sure but I think they might be exclusive with DriveThruRPG.

Hey Watcher, I can assure you that we WILL have the Combat Pad (and Extra Magnet Packs) and the Pathfinder Core RPG available in the store at PaizoCon. We should have most of our core products in the Convention store along with a selection of other vendor's products. And anything else that we make can be "fetched" if requested.

Hmmm, I thought that the two items I got with this would ship together. I got the email about the core book on Monday, but nothing about the bestiary. Is it just a delay on the bestiary or was the email for both items?

Both of your books are in the same box...Cosmo just forgot to mention that in the email to you. And as an fyi, just in case the other winner of the same 2-book set wanders past this thread and wonders the same thing, both of his books are in one box as well.

The distributor doesn't have an eta on a reprint. The publisher has always been flaky when it comes to keeping his books in print so there's no telling when this might be back in stock. We are more than happy keeping your order open in our system so that when it is back in print, we can send it out to you. Just let us know.

No, this is still the first printing. The second printing hasn't released yet (or at least it hasn't through distribution yet) and when it does, it will have this product code: S2PCFG01001

It looks to me from the painted pictures available on the reaper site this is a size "large" bear.

Myself, I would be mostly interested in a pack that would have:

25 x 1CP
25 x 1SP
25 x 1GP
10 x 10GP
10 x 100GP
5 x 500GP

100 coins.

Hopefully that would fit in the right cost vs. coins ratio.

In addition, this gives a DM a lot of flexibility, as well as allow for some players to actually gamble against each other and the DM.

I would also recommend that the manufacturer to get away from the 2 and 5 value coins -- especially in the lower value coins, like copper and silver. While they are neat to look at, they really aren't all that practical.

We just received a sample of the new printing of Adventure Gear and it looks great. Look for it in the store in a month or so (with its fancy redesigned cover).

After speaking with Andre, the manufacturer of the campaign coins, he's asked me to do a little digging to see what you guys are looking for in terms of coins denominations, quantities, and cost for a replacement Starter Set.

So please give us some suggestions and keep in mind that prices have risen and we won't be able to keep the quantity of coins vs. price point ratio the same.

The next set will be Kingmaker but I don't have an eta on those sets yet. I'm hopeful that we could get caught up and release the new set with the new AP at GenCon but that's pretty wishful thinking. I'll drop in when I have an idea of when the Kingmaker set is shipping.

Costs have risen since the manufacturer minted those Starter Sets (several years ago) and he's not sure if there will be another Starter Set of any kind. Certainly this specific collection at the listed price will never be available again.

This looks like a really good deal. How long will it be on backorder?

I got this from Privateer Press just a minute ago...This set of paint is out of stock and has been for a while. There is one paint color in the box that Privateer is working on reformulating and they don't have any estimate of when it will be ready.

We'd be more than happy to keep your order so when it is available again we could ship it to you or we can cancel it and you can reorder it when it comes back. Just let us know what you'd like us to do.

UPDATE!

I have spoken to Q-workshop and they have told me that the Legacy of Fire dice *should* be shipping out to the USA this week. I'm expecting them in the office around the end of the month or early March.

They have also said that the Kingmaker dice *should* be ready to ship in the next few weeks as well. My gut tells me that those should be arriving in April sometime.

Unfortunately no. This game came in and went out super-quick and hasn't been restocked by our distributor (or they are waiting on the manufacturer) yet. We can keep the back-order open as long as you like or we can cancel it and you can reorder it when it comes back...either works for us so just let us know.

More arrived this afternoon. :)
