About Jay ChersopBACKGROUND:
Jay Chersop was born unto one of the many concubines of Lord Orlovsky. But when he was identified as being born blind, he was quickly given over to a priestess to raise. As such he became a very devout healer and very charismatic. But he just couldn't bring himself to worship any Gods. Not that he didn't believe in them, or that they don't exist, he just couldn't pray or have faith in something that determined him to be blind. None-the-less he was still gifted with some divine powers. He began wearing medium and heavy armor as he grew up. First thing it's done for him is allow him to have a sort of demeanor that seems to keep the riff raff out of the temple, and the other priests seem to mention that it looks good on him. As he grew up, he developed the ability to see and has since kept this a secret. He also found that his touch could either heal someone, or injure them with the power of lightning. When he turned 18 he was informed of his noble birth, and has sought out into the Stolen Lands to claim land for himself, and prove that even one born blind can lead a kingdom better than one who can't see past his coin purse.
