Greetings.

I may be crashing this party a little early but you mention you might be looking for players?

If you are then I'd like to toss a Nature or Wood oracle into the ring.
The current build under the alias is as a Nature oracle for a campaign long ago..

I remember it being a coin toss between the two mysteries so who knows.
I've played Kingmaker in a couple of campaigns that faded before we left Oleg's. These things happen.

Anyway feel free to poke around in Jakob's old posts if you want an idea of my play style. And please forgive my trespass if I've wandered in before the New Player door was opened.

Jacob lifts a grape from the platter. Then sets it back on the table. He bows his head and lowers an open palm as if accepting something. For an instant a flower scented breeze flows across the table towards Jacob.
Casting “Purify food and drink” Tebati at least likely recognizes the orison. It covers 4 cubic feet. That should hit everything on the table.

A moment later he lifts the grape again and eats it.

"The fruit is good at least."

It is good to see this coming to life again. Though given history and present concerns I think we may be bad luck for AK.

I will miss Kieran. But I can see how it could work.
My first preference is for him to stay of course but I can see his looming horrible death as motivation for our lady of driftwood to start exploring the darker, more aggressive, options open to a angry cleric of a deity unencumbered by conventional morality.

But that is just my toss from the peanut gallery. Ignore as needed.

This is an odd assumption. The higher level you get in my campaigns the more rarely you will encounter anyone close to your level.

I would have to check my notes to be sure but General Morvius was a renowned warrior and is one of the highest level fighters in the country; at a total of 5 levels. Add your stat arrays to the mix and I think a fight between him and Qhude would basically come down to the dice at this point.

I can accept odd.

In my POV it is a way not to underestimate the opposition. If you go in to a conflict assuming you are the underdog and that the other side has capabilities you do not know about then you are a bit less likely to be caught entirely flatfooted when they release the Kraken or start dumping Rage addled super-apes into your cooking tent. Like you do.
If it turns out you can just roll over the baddies via raw numbers and badassery then that is all to the good. But raw power is better, in my odd view, as a backstop when the clever plan falls apart rather than as an opening gambit.

But then I do tend to overthink things.

I assume every NPC is higher level than us. It saves time.

Mind you if one accepts that as true, and observes that it is the lower level PC's who actually do things then it becomes logical to assume that NOT doing stuff earns more XP.

I say we troop back to Freehold, put our collective feet up and let the XP roll in. ;7)

Well that is sad. I understand your decision, but it still makes me feel, bad. The Kerian/Tebati romance was a real high point for the game.

Our DM is so buff they juggle in-laws. Once AK can figure out how to add the chainsaw it will be time to take the act on tour.

It doesn't help that I forgot to actually include my move. If it is not too late J will move to A,54 before failing to stab the sphere. Re-roll if Tebati can reach me: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 Exactly the same!

Conundrum.

I do not want to block Akirra's action but the logical thing for J to do would be to move up and use reach to attack through K's space.

However if J does that and Akirra's attempt to move through the sphere's space fails then the closest legal position rule drops him into the spinning blades as a blade space is closer that A's last legal space which would be in line behind K and J.

Note the mighty pebble might make this moot but I am not counting on it.

Any advice?

Elemental turn 1 of 4
Veins of green magic pulsing along it's rocky muscled the small elemental attempts to force one of the Spheres into the whirring blades. 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14 and that is a likely fail. Oh well The mighty pebble will try again.

Jakob follows the reanimated warrior along the narrow gap between wall and blades. Settling into the corner the sphere finds that where the warrior's greatsword isn't a spear point is.

Move to A,56.
Standard: Flanking attack on likely smashed sphere in A,54 : 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 2 = 28. Critical?: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 6 + 2 = 27. damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10. Critical damage, if needed d8+4x3: 3d8 + 12 ⇒ (8, 2, 6) + 12 = 28 Damn. The luck is strong with this one.

I thought about using a giant frog here as it fits J's nature theme better but the mechanics of the tongue grab & pull made success even less likely than using the Mighty Pebble.

If I understand this correctly....

Step one: Tongue touch attack hits
Two: Choose either to Grab or Pull
.If Grab, get +4 on cmb and move target adjacent on success. Frog not grappled.

.If Pull, forgo the +4 and move target 5' closer if check succeeds.

Or do both happen? Attack hits then grab check and then pull check if grab fails?

Seems very complex....

Pity lightning elementals are not available. Metal mastery and spark leap are nice!.

Seeing the nimble swordsman alone and undefended spurs the oracle into trying something new.....

Face still in concentration, lips sliding around sylvan's alien syllables, eyes staring intently at the stone floor near Kieran.

A stone floor that begins to move....

Full round casting Summon Natures Ally II to pull a Small Earth Elemental into space B,51 directly behind the sphere. I cannot communicate with the mighty pebble but its foe is right in front of spinning death and the little dirty dude has +7 to bull rush (CMB+4, Improved bull rush+2, Earth Mastery+1). Cross fingers.

Or the previous owner(s) just didn't use the line so the telecom needs to come round and install the 3-4 hardware upgrades they didn't do cause no one was using the line.

Had this happen at a place I was renting in the pre-cell era.

Could also be damage? If the line came down in a storm and there was no one using it.... no real pressure to get the repairs done.

Move: Move to -c,54.

Standard: Use spear to drag Wax golem #2 from -a,56 to either -a/-b, 55 I am not picky so long as waxy's in the chipper. As part of the drag move to -c,53. drag, weapon bonus not applied: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Note, there is some ambiguity in exactly how drag, re-position, etc work with Reach. I, obviously, think this should work but should you disagree then Jakob will simply poke waxy with a stick. Damage if this option is taken and a 19 hits: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Jakob walks confidently between the wall and the spinning blades. A clumsy swipe by his spear misses the wax horror's head only to have one of the 'ears' on the enchanted spear bite into the waxen head as the thrust is recovered.Leaping backwards and pulling hard on the spear shaft the oracle sets his weight and strength of arm against the wax pulling it slowly closer and closer to the spinning blades.
