If we can find others to come onboard I'd be willing to continue. For now perhaps just a narration of this situation and its resolution so as to start fresh.
I've had fun so far my only thought is not re maps and such but rather that often I felt we didn't have enough background, context of situation (eg our arrival back on the material plane, goal, background re Forsworn etc.) As we started this adventure sort of in media res it would be really helpful to have that info. That said Laz, DMing epic level adventures is tough so I wouldn't worry about it too much. But I'm up for going on.
Lazaro, could we have a description of the leader? Also after observing him in battle thus far has Jahangir discerned anything of his nature? Know(religion) 21
Could you provide a little more description of where we are? Do I see the other party members? Am I outside the temple? etc. Otherwise I'd rush to join the fray the party is in and warn them of the impending evil guy. Some description as to how the gem was stolen/the fight would help too

*Scarab of protection absorbs energy drain, negative energy, death effects (12 charges)
Does High Quarter look like its holding out or on the verge of falling? Are there any critters directly threatening the gates as people are trying to reach them? Basically looking to help out the citizenry get to safety.
Witnessing the holocaust down below the paladin exclaims, "In Al Akbar's name!" THe paladin's face seethes with anger and for a moment he ponders leaping down into the battlefield but Jahangir checks himself. "We must find the Circle and discover the fate of the gems."
The paladin speaks in hushed tones to Fragos, "If we are bound for Veluna I'd prefer we use our own methods until we determine where our friend's allegiances truly lie."
Jahangir's brow furrows in concern as he regards the demented ranger. Detect Evil . "Step back Giorge. Explain yourself. You must tell us everything you know of the enemy. You know what is at stake. What awaits us in Veluna?"
Has the group decided how/where to move to? The path to west takes an hour to reach bottom. From there there will be a waterfall. Following the river will lead you to the nearest 'safe' spot. The abonded stronghold of Thornward (120 miles away). On the other hand the second closest place would be Veluna City to the east (250 miles away).
I have to admit I'm lost here. Were we supposed to make contact with the Circle of Eight after our trip to Castle Perilous? If so where, how? I'm just not sure what we're doing and which location would help us more.
Looking down upon the charred remains of the abomination, Jahangir makes a sign to ward off the evil and utters a quick prayer of thanks to Al-Akbar. "Many thanks Raizen for your timely aid." The paladin strides over to his comrades and Giorge. Cautiously he looks to examine the state of the restored ranger. or is the miasma still in effect?
As Jahangir dives at the nymph, she places a finger to her lips. The around her shimmers, condenses into a black sphere. With a smile she launches it at the incoming paladin
Jahangir takes to the field using the armour's powers to fly directly down upon the corrupted fey. He roars an oath to Akbar as he swings the falchion downward. (Smite Evil)
*The sword is still under Brilliant Energy effect, and Jahangir's first atk has fragos' champion spell.
The paladin judges the distance and makes a quick decision. Jahangir incants a war oath (Divine Favour +6 luck bonus atk/dam) Whispering a command Jahangir takes to the air (activate fly on celestial armour) unable to reach Giorge even with the flight the paladin flies to the rocks on the east side of the field using them as cover.
Jahangir curses through gritted teeth as the arrow's unholy energies seethe within his wound. However, the pain steels his resolve as he readies to close with Giorge.
Kutho knows honour is important but offering you're foes advantages like this are stupid
err guys..if he and his little friend are considered an adequate challenge for the group do you really think handicapping us like this is the proper way to do things?
Almost certainly not. I wasn't sure what to make of Raizen's suggestion. Rationally, we fight together but a tournament style is a bit more dramatic if foolhardy. I couldn't resist. However, they will be distracted maybe giving an opportunity. Fragos' miracle might just work.
Still keeping a level gaze upon the two corruptions, the paladin replies, "Aye, Raizen." Gripping his falchion and channeling the celestial power of the Lion's blade (Activating: Brilliant Energy) the paladin addresses Giorge, "So be it."
So this is probably a complete shot in the dark but have we learned anything of the nature of Giorge's affliction? If it means anything Spellcraft 27=4+23... I swear Invisble castle hates me.
Jahangir fights back his growing rage at the sight of the two corrupted forms. He tries to sense if there is anything that remains of the ranger's old self. "It doesn't have to be this way. Surely there's still a part of you who remembers who you were. It is never too late Giorge." Jahangir levels his gaze at the abomination and adds gravely, "But we will do what we must, friend."
Jahangir hearing Raizen's words thinks to himself, Great, sounds like every demon and his uncle already knows we're here.
Aloud he hefts his falchion, "Let us see if we can rescue him from the evil clutches that hold his mind."
Standing over the bloody heaps of the fallen jaebrin, Jahangir glancing at Kelgan's vicious wounds intones a prayer to Al-Akbar and channels his deity's power.
Channel Positive Energy 54hp recovered
The paladin nods at Fragos' words, "Good plan, friend." Jahangir strides forward to a position facing the whirling wall. He holds his sword ready to unleash on the remaining jaebrins.
Infused with Fragos' mystical energies the paladin strikes a series of hammering blows down upon the corrupted creature beating it back towards the whirling wall of blades. Thanks Fragos! Slightly out of order but next attack spoilered below Lazarao. First full round atk of the game. The Paladin cuisinart strikes!

Does it help to post our actions if we know we won't be around for several hours?
(I think this would help the combats along...)
That would be ok, I'm a patient person anyways. So I can can take waiting on a person to post. But like I said it's ok, but put it in spoilers. That way I know to come back to it, and if something happens between you posting and the time your init does come up you can change it.
OK noted. I'd been posting out of order for that exact reason and as it seems that when I am able to check in there's been a flurry of posts I guess I'll have to keep doing that fairly often.
Once clear of danger Jahangir invokes the True Faith of Al Akbar and channels the power of his god to restore his drained companion.
Restoration cast. I assume it would be alright to just deduct 100gp from savings (I probably should've looked at material components before
Seeing the shaken figure of Tarlan Jahangir furrows his brow in concern but nods quickly to Fargos' advice for haste.
Raizen do you need some healing? Lazaro would Restoration help Tarlan? ie are they permanent levels? .. Spellcraft 20+23=43 If they are not permanent I will use Restoration once we're clear of the danger.
Glancing about to his companions to ensure no one else seems wounded the paladin will follow Kutho and Tarlan in pursuit of the escaped foe (ableit at a slower pace than 90)
As per earlier post Jahangir's sword shines like a torch providing light. Jahangir will move ahead to engage the group in the hallway. atk 43=7+36 dam=43
With a roar Jahangir plunges into the next room attacking the first of the loathsome creatures he sees. (Assuming Tarlan is in front of Raizen can't actually reach anyone just yet unless goons move forward. If Jahangir can't reach anyone he'll move to the square next to Tarlan on E side)
