Thank you..I hope to have the issues resolved and return soon. The products have been fantastic

I love maps myself. It's my favorite part of any given adventure. In fact...

I had meant to include some for the Mog Adventure but, it just slipped my mind completely. I will accept no less than 10 lashings for this transgression.

No... please... I insist.

In fact... to make it up to you quickly... after you finish flogging me, you can find the Mad Mog adventure saved as a full adventure node ready for play via OpenRPG in the errata section of the Weredragon forums right now. This very moment in fact! Go ahead and look, you can find it in this thread...

Weredragon Mag Issue 1 Errata for Mad Mog

I'll also promise you that in the next and future issues... we'll be having some maps to go with these here adventures.

Even if I have to make them myself...

A few samples of my cartography efforts can be found at the following URLS, Keep in mind that each new map is a learning experience and so far I'm all they have for a mapper, methinks. Mayhaps one of you can point a talented and starving Master Cartographer in our direction:

Tangled Web Interior Map

Tangled Web Parchment Overland Map

Tangled Web Stockyard Encounter Map

Tangled Web Large Overland Map

Thanks much to all those who took a chance and spent their hard earned cash on our own work. I hope we can continue to please you all in the future.

I joined and sent a PM about freelancing...especially as a Cartographer

On a more serious note, I'd like to know how quickly and how seriously Paizo is pushing for a similar (if not 'better') map here.
We're talking to a developer about such a project currently. It would be inappropriate to be more specific at this time, though.

Like

a

Interactive Atlas of Golarion made with CC3

perhaps

Now thats a Digital Game aid I would consider killing for

The most challenging aspect of the program is learning the CAD based functions. !

As someone not used to CAD software, I found it extremely challenging to use, and even after I learned it somewhat, i found it was so slooowwwww. At least for outdoor maps.

And I really did not like the end results. while nice things can be done with it, like the old Forgotten Realms CD Atlas, the overall result is not what I expected.

Well, let's hope the 4ed of CC will be easier ?

Of course, this is just a personal opinion, so feel free to disagree.

Since you Mentioned "Forgotten Realms Atlas" ...I would be willing to Buy an Atlas created for Pathfinder...Hint...Hint..hint.....Hint

Dwarf Fighter

It is not that difficult to use.

An added plus, all the User Artwork from the Dundjinni Forums can be used in it also.

Dwarf Fighter

Now thats funny as heck......

My first thought was that Paizo had gone crazy putting out such a product...

kinda like WOTC put out Adult content stuff..

I think I'll buy it just for the sake of owning it

Dwarf Fighter

Congradulations

Now get back to work :)

Gotta work on Next year...Seems WOTC has been working on 2010 and 2011 already...hahahahaha

Dwarf Fighter

No preorders but I plan on buying

Dwarf Fighter

Welcome

You picked a GREAT Company to work for..

Dwarf Fighter

Not really sure how long I have been a member of the forums.

Originally what I came for was the Free Stuff for Dragon and Dungeon Magazines. I was just getting into Digital Suppliments. I was gonna start buying Older Game Suppliments. I use to buy The Maps and FR suppliments in print and I wanted to suppilment those with Digital Versions.

I Started Buying Paizo Moduals as a way to say thanks for the freebies, after WOTC announced the Switch to 4E I was so Damn happy I had.

We have no desire to switch and I hope Paizo stays with thier path. Pathfinder is close enough to what we play that I can pick up some Stuff that I can Use.

Moneys tight for me right now but I still wanna pick up the Nostalgia Stuff in Digital Format. I hope Paizo doesn't loose the right to sell them before I do. I have been Playing since 1978.

Paizo has had great response to their Customers and Great service thats why I stayed with them.

Dwarf Fighter

Like Others I would Purchase blank pages of non glossy Card Stock. Especially with a Border and Category Printed.

And I also Agree that Clip-art for Printing the Cards would be Fantastic. I have Printmaster for doing cards with. And Someone started a Word File which you can do different cards with at the same time.

we have been doing Cards for a While in our group on Business cards and handing them out.

Easy to track stuff

Dwarf Fighter

Why not discuss 4E over on the WOTC Site and discuss Paizo products on these forums..

To me thats the best way to do it.

Dwarf Fighter

What No Electrum pieces !!!!

:)

Dwarf Fighter

A Pathfinder Interactive Atlas (CCpro or CC3).

I am sure we will see the other suggestions in time. As most have already started showing up.

Dwarf Fighter

"OH WELL"

Dwarf Fighter

Well I don't give a Rat's Behind about the 4E GSL because I am staying with what I use right Now. Paizo's New system will be closer to what I use than 4E will be. Paizo publishes Adventures that are useable for the system. WOTC has not been able to publish much of anything in the recent past few months that has been useful to me.
It will not hurt my feelings if Paizo decides to also produce a 4E line of products. Because they will be able to do both with success. There is enough room for both systems.
To me the 4E GSL represented a strongarm tactic by the Corporate Bully to keep the "Smaller" Companies to fall in line. Its not a do or die situation as most people seemed to have believed.

Dwarf Fighter

I use Max Hit points at 1st + Con Bonus. After That its pure rolls, you take what you get.

A trend I see In D&D I hate is that to many people are trying to move D&D into a system where PCs are automatically in win situations. Players should not automatically have a tacticle advantage over monsters, NPC because we are afraid they might lose a battle. Players should learn to cover come situations through various methods, the most important TEAMWORK.

Doing away with randomization does away with alot of the indiviualism of each character.

Another trend is that certain skills, feats, spells have become automatic. As it is every fighter will turn out the same, Every Class will be the same.

Dwarf Fighter

I don't think that we need class skills.
Every Class has features that set them apart from everyone else.

Some Skills should still be Trained only skills.

Anyone can attempt to open a lock..but unless they are trained they should be at a disadvantage..this can be determined by the DM.

Also I have done away with take 10 and Take 20.

Dwarf Fighter

I have already done away with cross class skill points

Well, I still support WotC.

This decision is lame. Paizo does a great job of writing adventures, but they do not have the staff to develop and maintain an RPG from the ground up. This decision is just the newest incarnation of grognardism. I think we need to send Erik Mona and the rest to move their lead minis around the sand table.

All that stuff you like about 3.5, the guys who made it are becoming shrill with optimism over the change to 4E.

Pathfinder RPG? Why? How can you hope to regain the balance lost from all the late edition combinations of prestige classes and feats that make a new edition so necessary?

Well Well Somebodys on a soapbox it seems. They have been doing an outstanding job.

Maybe they realize that not everyone were mindless sheep who had to grab up and use every single WOTC splatbook. Many of Us will never miss those Prestige classes and feats. Paizo had done recently what WOTC has not been able to do. Continue To Produce Quality stuff, Keep thier customers informed, Produce a Gaming Magazine, Post Useable stuff online, Personally find time to answer questions on the Forums, Embraced User electronic versions of thier Maps for use in VTTs. Deliver products on time.

I will stay in the SANDBOX with the Paizo Group and play with my Lead and Pewter before I play with WOTC and thier plastic.

Dwarf Fighter

A Higher Resolution is also needed for Digital Projection and for quality zooms.

Dwarf Fighter

Outstanding Map
Have You considered joining either

RPGMAPSHARE at http://rpgmapshare.com/
or
Cartographers Guild at http://www.cartographersguild.com/

Both places are great resources for Maps and Advice

Dwarf Fighter

Would Paizo consider having a Map section like Goodman Games does and host User Created Maps or Converted Maps.

I am sure others beside me have converted the Maps in either Dundjinni, CC, or cut and paste from the PDFs and converted into jpg or bmp files.

Dwarf Fighter

Please Please Please

Tell us that the Map is made with CC and that you will be Making a Golarion Interactive Atlas.

I miss all the Maps that use to come in the suppliments. I always wanted To have a Game Room with all the Maps on the wall.

I could kick myself for not buying the FR interactive Atlas

Kirth Gersen wrote:
How does it compare to the Glenn Ford original? Any vague resemblance at all?

A Very Different Characterization of the Main Characters. More in Depth.

The Basic Concept is the Same...Get the Prisoner on the 3:10 Train to Yuma. Pretty Much follows the Same Storyline.

Dwarf Fighter

The Trailers actually look good and the Cast is Good too.

Dwarf Fighter

Well I don't print but I do Digital Display so having the Maps already in Digital Format saves me trouble of having to scan the Maps. But I still get the printed versions because I can read it anywhere any time I want. I don't carry my laptop to the Bathroom with me. I don't lay in bed with the Laptop.

Dwarf Fighter

What a Cruel joke this would be...The Ultimate April Fool's Joke

On April 1st WOTC Will announce
"FOOLED YOU...We are not releasing 4E.. We have been jerking your legs."

After all the 1st Product is a Modual in May and the Core Books in June

Dwarf Fighter

WODAD (World of Dungeons and Dragons)
EDD (electronic Dungeons and Dragons)

Dwarf Fighter

Thanks for the Info.
I was wanting to do a quick preview, before I go back to work.

Dwarf Fighter

When Will the Download be available?

Its not showing on the downloads and I deleted the Email with a link.

Dwarf Fighter

If or when Paizo switches to 4E. My Subscription to the Gamemastery Modules will end.

Not to Punish Paizo for switching, but I will not be switching to 4E and I have no plans on buying anything designed for 4E. I realize I am just .0000000000001% of the Overall D&D Community and my purchases won't make or break any Company. Paizo will have to stay in touch with the Majority of the Community and I respect that.

Dwarf Fighter

4E ain't D&D

Because

It ain't been released yet....It is just a bunch Hype and unpublished promises subject to change without any given notice.

Its a Vague attempt to turn D&D into a Living VIDEO GAME

AD&D is D&D is D&D because its been published
2nd Edition is D&D because its been published
3rd Edition is D&D because its been published
3.5 Edition is D&D because its been published

Dwarf Fighter

Actually Paizo has given permission to share the Maps made with Dundjinni as long as NO ONE IS CHARGING for them.

I started posting some on the Dundjinni Forums but there seemed to be a lack of interest in them so I stopped Making them.

Depending on the Details of the Map, BMP files are usually to Large to post on the DJ Forums. Dj can also export in JPG and PNG files.

To cut down on one persons bandwidth Maps could be posted on Dundjinni, RPGMAPSHARE, or the Cartographer Quild Sites. Or you could get a free WEBSHOTS or Photobucket account to post to.

I saved the Email so Here is the Reply I got

""
As long as credit is given to Paizo and Chris West (or whoever the cartographer may be), and as long as the maps aren't being put up for sale... go for it! I don't have any problems at all with this.

Dwarf Fighter

No Its Not Dragon nor Is Dungeon.

Both are Lack Luster cheap rip offs of the True Originals.

The E-zines will never amount to anything. There is absolutely no reason split the content into two separate E-zines.

Wow we got one Modual modual this month...WHOOOOOPPPIIIEEEE

Dwarf Fighter

My shipments have been getting here in 2 to 3 days at the Most that why I was mentioning it.

Once again someone other than Paizo has screwed up things. Neighbors two houses up brought the Package at 8:45 pm to the house. Seems the Postman screwed up and delivered it today there.

Once again Thank you Paizo for outstanding customer service.

Dwarf Fighter

Replacement shipment has not been received.

Dwarf Fighter

Customer service at its best.

Straight forward with customers, No Hype about promises of up comming products then ducking out of sight and not answering any questions nor delivering on the promises.

The Blog serves those purposes.
Although I have no interest in running a Pathfinder Campaign I sure can use The Artwork and Maps in my "Homebrewed" World.

Maybe Paizo wouldn't mind throwing a Book of "NPC"s out with all of the NPCs from the Moduals and Paths in a Single Source. This would be a availble source for DM with Time constaints.

Alot of the Materials you are offering in the Blog is easily adaptable in any setting.

Dwarf Fighter

Got the Email..

Once again Paizo comes to the rescue with oustanding customer service and a fast response.

Although I really use mostly the artwork and maps for my games, this is the reason why I chose to support Paizo. I need to pay yall back for all the "freebies" throughout the years..

Dwarf Fighter

The Wrong Item was shipped.
I ordered GameMastery Module U1: Gallery of Evil (OGL) (Print Edition)instead I recieved "Pathfinder, The Skinsaw Murders".

How do I go about returning it?

Dwarf Fighter

If thats the case then wouldn't Paizo be breaking the law selling the PDF files also...because under that logic since they sell the PDF Files separately from the hard copies..

What would make owning a PDF File (ie...like owning a Pirated Copy of a CD)is illegal is if you made it yourself from the Book then sold the Hardcopy.

PAizo sells the Hardcopy and PDF Files separately so you can buy them separately or in a Bundle and do anything you want with your copies. You don't have to own them both.

Dwarf Fighter

I have been a homebrewer since 1997, so thats my favorite.

Commercial Beers
Young's Double Chocolate Stout
Lindeman's "Frambrose" Lambic
Paulaner Hefeweizen
Genny Cream Ale
Pilsner Urquel
Budvar chevar

Dwarf Fighter

thank you

hope it comes in handy for people

Dwarf Fighter

I can provide the DJA files but Dundjinni Users are already aware that unless we have the same file structures and files then its useless

Dwarf Fighter

Glad I subscribed then.

Dwarf Fighter

Just got started creating DUNDJINNI Detailed Maps for D2:Seven Swords of Sin.

I have BMP, JPG and PDF files available if anyone wants them.

I am mapping each roon separately for use digitally or printing out.

AREA 1 Level 1

Dwarf Fighter

I am gonna use D2 next in My Game so I have started to make DUNDJINNI maps for it. These maps are detailed 1"=5' Maps available in PDF, JPG and BMP Files

I will be posting them on my webshots account.

Will PAIZO allow me to post them and share with Everyone here on the Forums.

Dwarf Fighter

It is my understanding that anyone who orders the Print version of any module will get a "free" PDF.
So If you ordered in July 2007, tommorrow or 5 years from now and back order you will get a FREE PDF.

If you want the PDF you can purchase a PDF without buying the print version.

The GameMastery Modules Subscriber advantage is never having to remember to order.

Dwarf Fighter

I use Dundjinni

Sorry to hear that you can't get the results you want with Dundjinni.

Your other option is a graphics program such as "GIMP" or "PHOTOSHOP"
