As the group eats Sverinn delicious soup Ekembe and Jacen suggest they turn in for the night. As the sun sets and no light peeks through the canopy everyone lays on their bedrolls and falls victim to an exhausted slumber.

Ekembe, Rowann and Jakiim trade off on uneventful watches, four houra a piece the three listen to the odd sounds of the forest around them. The ground rumbles four times in five minute intervals during Jakiims early morning shift, as he prepares his musical songs for the day. Its not enough to disturb the undine, nor does it seem close enough to be a threat, but rise suspicion maybe.

Jakiim wakes the group just as the light creeps into their camp, well before midday, but clearly not to early either. The Impliangs are seen standing at the bottom of the Durian, probably waiting Sverinn's generous breakfast.

The clearings large tree can be seen clearly, but it wouldnt be ideal to spy on from here. Although, it ciuld be used to tell what the impliangs are up to, within the canopy.

As the two trackers return, Sverinn has finished cooking and set up bowls of soup for everyone, leavig the rest in the pot at the bottom of the Impliang tree for them, should they return. Its beginning to get dark out now, an hour or so before dusk. The soup warms the hearts of everyone, filling and delicious. Rowann notices the aura on the berry bush has gone away as well.

Jacen and Jakiim figure they've learned alot from the book, but probably not getting much further with transition without light. Magical means could give their position away to the wild and their possible on looker.

What to do now?

ya even with he +4, and i thought it was a +5, he still doesn't see through it, and you cant touch the rope without climbing up the tree, its 30' above your head

ok, i think i gave plenty of time for everyone to post as well, lets try to get back to at least a 3 time a week posting schedule guys. Here goes :)

Scene 2 The Legend Unfolds

Rowan:
The area around the last prints show no signs of any other disruptions. Who ever left these prints was more than good at disappearing, or climbing or hiding. Your not sure which of course. As you use detect magic you see a faint trail of divine energy leading around a nearby oak tree and then up into its tall branches as well. You lose sight of the white lingering magic about 30feet up its trunk, when its branches and leaves begin obscureing your view. Please make a will save if you decide to move more than 5ft closer to the tree in your next post.

Rowan Will save DC 15:

Reality flickers as you get closer to the oak. The tree shrinks and grows in flashes before your eyes, until finally you see its only half as big around, and the branches dont get thick until nearly 60' above, a rope can be seen hanging down from the thickness above, waving slightly in fhe wind 30' above, right where the flicking of reality began.

Jakiim:
Looking for specifics, its a bit easier to find the information, it seems the undines were crafters of things foreign to the fey. Hunters of the islands animals, even builders of a castle or what they call in the book The Viriana. The exact location isnt disclosed, but its on the island for sure and should be pretty big, easy to find. The old city isnt mentioned more than a few times, but its surely where they came from. Terskah is the elder treant, seemingly a king or ruler of the island. The war did happen, the last entry details the forces, Treants and Dryads vs Korreds and Giants. Undines seem to have divided themselves among both sides. The giants wanting power, to spread about the world, to bring destruction to the "evil" humanoids and bring the fey to rule Golarion. The treants wanting to keep isolated from the rest of the world, keep their self sustained society secret from the rest and make their own island their own, hidden from everyone else.
It takes a while to figure all this out.

Jakiim takes nearly an hour to read again. Rowan is off tracking the trespasser though the forest. Ekembe and Jacen relax and enjoy the peace for the moment, Sverinn ponders the Impliangs involvement of the Legends and Mystery of the Island.

Rowann:
The tracks lead a good few hundred yards to the north. They get steadily lighter near the end of the trail, suddenly it disappears. Being a few minutes walk from camp, you take a good look around the area. You can tell its been disturbed, plants mashed into the soft soil below. A bush a few feet away from the last set of boot prints has been cut in some places, methodically for its flower buds, the plant. "Nefarea" creats a a liquid that burns through organic material, an herbal acid of sorts. The forest is still pretty thick here, you notice squirrels and little birds above you. Flying and scurrying about through the lower canopy.

1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30 1d20 ⇒ 6

Luckily for everyone noone messed with Jacens things, and Rowann finds it easy enough to follow the tracks, but its very obvious the lead further than earshot away from camp.

splitting up are we?

Im pretty sure I gave the description of the vines. They are connected to the Bell. Bell is a curved cup looking creature its cylindar body curves up. Its top is an opening covered by a huge leaf. This is pic of a MUCH smaller version

Checkin stuff out:

The Vines run into the bells backside near the bottom. Sverinn very easily determines this with a surveying look. Jacen strains his little neck looking over the tall grass, brush, and evil plant creatures, he sees that there arnt two plants standing next to each other anymore. All are at least 10' apart. Trapper "F" is only 15' from the Inner Circle. Bell, on the other hand, has the vines attached to its body. They linger only a few feet away squirming up into the air when not striking at opponents. Any vines not grappling with opponents would be effected by Jacens Bombs, including Bell itself if the bomb lands on the plant.

Jacen reloads and lets fly yet another bullet, blasting Trapper D squarely in its "head". The trapper has clearly seen enough of the little stone slinger, as it falls to the ground. Limp and lifeless as people like to view them best. Trapper D is dead; Jacen is victorious!

Ekembe surveys the situation and sees his new friend constricted by one of Bells vines. He sends a ward to help out Jakim just before the Undine slips out of the Bells grasp.

Jakim feels Ekembes ward be just enough to hold off the poison from the Bells vine, but still isn't looking forward to facing the plant again so soon. Pulling his cloak over his head, he dukes into the tall grass and brush behind a rock and quickly heals himself with a soothing song.
Ekembe sent the ward AFTER you were grappled already. Failing the reflex save would have been before he sent the ward. Technically, it was for last round. Your not sick, and your hidden behind the rock

Sverinn is able to beat the poison, but still feeling sick. Not bad enough to hold her back to much though, she confidently sends two force missiles into Bell. 9 dam to Bell, Sverinn is no longer Poisoned and doesn't take poison damage this round; but is still sickened.

As Jakim slips from the vines grasp the Bell gets obviously frustrated. It takes all four vines and jabs them into the grass and brush around it. It bloats itself, closing its huge leaf lid, pumping something through vines. Four large bulges flow from Bell through the vines. After this odd behaviour the vines are noticably thicker and give off a green aura; the two living trappers (E and F) both show a green aura as well.

Trapper F spits at Jacen, but hes easily able to dodge the entangled trappers acidic glob.
Trapper E isn't entangled though, and it makes a charging dive at Sverinn. Not quick enough to dodge the aura beaing trapper, it latches onto the wizardress with unnatural strength; But even in her sickend state shes able to peel the trapper off her leg. A nice sized chunk of flesh, muscle and skin along with it.
Sverinn takes 12 dam, (crit) but avoids the grapple condition.

Dices:

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 131d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 201d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26cc: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 71d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 61d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
