Half-Elf Racial Traits

Ialda is an attractive, tall, slender, half elf. Her most distinguishing characteristic is the light green hue to her skin. If her eyes are actually noticed, they are a dark, dark brown, bordering on black. Her hair is greenish - brown. Although difficult to notice, Ialda has extremely long and sturdy nails on her hands, almost claw like in nature. She is exceptionally strong for her size. She typically wears her favorite explorer's outfit, and covers that with studded leather armor, when she disembarks from the ship. She also has a colorful sleeve of tattoos on her left arm. When she is thinking, she has a habit of inattentively rubbing the tattooed arm.

Backstory:

Ialda was raised in a Mwangi tribe surrounding the trading city of Kibwe. For that reason, Ialda has had much more of an exposure to "outsiders" than most of the natives of the jungle area. It is in that city that she first made some gold for the family, trading on his own expertise of the surrounding area. It was seen as quite a bragging point for rich visitors to have a green skinned female with elven blood guiding their group.

Her skin began turning green as a young child, and turned the current color around the time she hit puberty. Her mother would not speak to her about any possible origins of this abnormality, only advising her beloved daughter to accept herself for what she was. She has never known anything about her father, another topic that her mother would not discuss with her. Ialda was always curious about this, as well.

Like most jungle tribes, there were many competitive games player amongst the teens. Due to her massive strength advantage, she won quite a few of these. After one event in questions, a couple of the local boys ganged up to 'convince' her to sit out the new few series of games. She fought back, lost her temper, and brutally clawed the boys with her nails. She scarred them badly and that more or less ended her time with her tribe. The only looks she received after that were uncomfortable, so within a month or so, she bid her mother farewell, and began doing the scouting job described above.

She has led a couple groups in exploring the local areas. She has mapped a decent little section of the southern portion of the Expanse. She has recently boarded a vessel and delivered a group safely back to Senghor. She is now on the return voyage to Eleder to try and find another party needing her guiding services.

Future Character Plans:

I plan on taking 2 levels of barbarian and taking the Lesser Totem Power to grow claws while raging, and fight with the natural weapons for the most part. After that, 3 levels of sorcerer to enter Dragon Disciple. I'm not sure on whether I will be armored or not. Obviously all these things are not set in stone.

I see her as both a solid tank/damage dealer with a splash of arcane casting, and also a good 5th party member as I can help with both roles in the group, if one needs some boosting. I plan on keeping Perception, Survival, Know. Nature, Know. Arcana, and probably Acrobatics close to maxed out.
