@Hannya Electronic copy is fine, i would do they same if i had a decent PDF reader and there is bound to be a few core rulebooks floating around if you need one

On a separate note Warhorn is now live for Burwood games day on the 30th and we are running the special event Module Dawn of the Scarlet Sun on the 17th at Burwood, so if you are coming on down please register on Warhorn.

@DonkeyOpera
Well as Luke has shown his City Bias i should add my Burwood Bias, I organize the Burwood Games Days on the last Saturday of every month and i can guarantee that i try to make sure that there is a low level game on offer each month as previous mentioned demand can sometimes change what we might offer, but we love new players (FRESH MEAT!!!) and try to accommodate everyone they say they will attend. On a parallel line Al is one of the best people to talk to in regards to rules questions.

Have a few coming along with me for the 30th to try their hand at Society play so should be good!

On a side note, can the unsure player just rock up on the day or is pre-reg required? I've only played the Cons so not sure how formal the weekends are.

@Shifty, I have just created the Facebook event for Burwood for the 30th here.

My preference is if you can keep an eye on this event page and when i declare registrations are open register on Warhorn, that helps me as the organizer get a good idea of numbers and allows me to tailor the games and gms to what is required. I am open to additional players rocking up on the day but i cant guarantee a seat at a table, but i will try

On a side note to all we will be running like the city; tables of Dawn of the Scarlet Sun (the Paizo 'Free RPG Day' module for 2012)on the same day as the city so go to the event page or go to Warhorn to register

Urgh - is the 16th 'in lieu of' the 30th at Burwood, or 'as well as'?

Of course I'm away with work the weekend of the 16th (but am doing fun/glamourous stuff so thats ok) so will miss that gem... but have the 30th all shiny and free!

Well Shifty City store is the third Saturday of the month, Burwood will be on the last Saturday of the month so to answer your question as well as

Sir_Wulf and Mr Johnson, many thanks on your advice took Mister Johnsons and turned the map around and drew it, worked perfectly and I think all the guys on my table enjoyed themselves, many thanks

This would seem the best place to ask this, i am scheduled to run this at a con this weekend and have been reading through it today, I have to admit my map drawing skills are not the best has anyone had any luck pulling the tower map out of the PDF and converting it to a printable map?? and if so how did you do it??? I am happy to draw it it just looks a little time consuming; many thanks in advance

I like what i see just a couple of quick query's
- have you consider the samurai writeup in Guide to Rokugan for adiitional inspriration its slightly different to the oriental adventures; when i was wrting up a set of npcs for a rokugan style game i liked the look of it over the other versions
- you have given the class the swim skill to replace jump from 3.5; would it not work better if they had acrobatics;

it short it looks good, very good now I just need yo talk my DM round
