Chard extends his hand in a warrior's grasp and nods, "Sounds reasonable."

[b]"I believe in Order. Citizens, residents, and visitors should feel safe, one or a few unscrupulous groups should not cause panic, upheaval and disorder. Unchecked chaos is unhealthy for the good of the law-biding. My family and I have served this city well...the City deserves better.


The evening at the Hellknight headquarter goes by uneventfully for the group. The next morning arrives to the smell of coffee, bacon, eggs, and grits cooking. Chard greets everyone as they wander towards the dining area. The dead have been moved and most of the signs of battle have likewise been cleansed. "Morning, I would like to thank you for needed assistance." Then after passing the meal with small talk Chard pulls Gerard to the side for a conversation.

Gerard:

"What do you have in mind - if the council - can be be replaced?" It was a pointed question but it opened the door for discussion.

"It is possible they were attacked, but they went out in forces of 10, so they would have to be overwhelmed by an ambush. The brothers have scanning methods so several members in party would be in tuned to chaotic behavior." "There's plenty of those...we even have few with bars if that'll make you feel more at home." He chuckles. He is clearly trying to lighten the situation up, something that you can sense is something he is not use to doing.


The group makes there way upstairs and there is an exhausted looking chard with three hellknights kneeling over a few corpses taking pulses. Chard and his group each have several significant wounds but it is nothing life threatening. He looks up ready for another round of battle then he realizes it's your group.

He half grins, "Jinkoo found you...he's a loyal soul, more so, then these traitors and cutthroats."

You see there are two dead hellknights on the ground and another 4 thugs.

"A traitor got away, along with a couple leaders, one came running up from downstairs. I take it you've dispatched justice down there." He motions to the cellar.

Phem I'm going to put you at G, 16 unless you tell me otherwise. You would draw an AOO if you move to E,17. I just noticed that Andrea gave you the same advice.

RD 2: Hellknight

The armored enemy hacks at Andrea.

Confirming the brutal slice,

A gaping chunk of flesh hits the ground as Andrea has a new battle scar for Fiona to trace.


The hellknight has flames flick around him burning the webs and his web.

He moves to E, 18 and jabs and thrusts his long sword at Andrea,

He misses wildly.


Lucrezia:
"He is being held in a secure location, and he is indisposed."

As he looks to the guard who opens the door for you, "You may leave."


"Of course you will." Lumar says.


"Insurgents...we are always stomping out those willing to break the law. Some slave was stolen." He glares, "Know anything about that?"


lucrezia:
He nods, and waves to the door." You have friends that wanted to speak with Alphonse." He pauses, {b]"is it about freeing that half-orc slave? if so, he is indisposed for the foreseeable future."


He chuckles, "The idea is kill the devil not dance with him." He has a self-satisfied look in his eyes.

Thought I forgot about your arch rival?


Lucrezia:
His intimidate was more for effect given his authority position. You know he doesn't trust anyone, let alone your group.

"She was not misplaced." the hellknight replies.

Lumar grins at John, "Thought you'd be inducted by now." clearly referring to the Order of the Scourge.


The Hellknight introduces himself to Orsin, "I'm Lumar Decan, John and I were trained by the same instructor, my grandfather."


Lucrezia:
'Your friend is being held for questioning, some of Alphonse property has gone missing. He's not for sell...right now." An evil smirk across his face.


Lucrezia only:
"So what do you know about this Brotherhood of Westcrown group? They've been causing a stir in the City."

From behind Truk, John and Orsin comes a voice, "John, my old training partner." It's Lumar Decan, "What brings you here?" You can see he has made full Hellknight rank


Our Orders are to bring Ms. Villanova" He pauses, "We will check with our Lieutenant when we bring her back."

I understand what you want to do but they are militant and would not break order.


"Lucrezia Villanova come with us." The helmeted men point towards Alphonse office.
