You'll have the option to get the most current issue or to start it on the next release.

How a subscription works is when the book is released. You'll get a pdf of that book when your book is shipped. Also this is when you'll get charged as well for the book. After that you just wait till the next month for the anther book, till you decide to cancel.

You'll have to purchase the previous books like normal thou.

The book trade DOES tend to shift all release dates to the next Wednesday (making the release of the Core Rulebook 8/19).

I'm finding out that Amazon is not allowed to ship until Sept 2nd by Paizo. That really bites that Paizo has released the hardcover on Aug 13th, but Amazon is not allowed to release until Sept 2nd. At $65 for the Core Rulebook and Bestiary, I guess I cannot complain.

819 responses & I'm not gonna go through them all for this one but I just download my copy of the rules (Yeah!! bought the actual book a couple days ago---yeah for 40+ hours at work a couple weeks ago!!). Anyways was the cover of the pdf left off intentionally? Will it be added if the pdf gets updated??

heck I live in Oregon (eastern OR actually) & the USPS option means I always got my books (when I had a subscription) 10 days from shipped announcement.

I can see why, the original poster would be upset but at least you'll be getting the pdf with your Paizo purchase (that is if your a PRPG subscriber, not sure if it ties into the overall Superscriber title).

Figure add 9.99 to the entire order if you went with say Amazon, which would bring the order to around $50.00.

Then again, just be glad your getting the hardback. I tried, but the funds just aren't there for me to get it right now.....

well my pre-order was ready to go & then I got a Out of Stock & who knows when we'll get more & I read on here that Paizo only sent a small amount to them.

No Biggee, I was using a gift certificate & just used it on a couple of models that I wanted, ha ha.

Pretty sure PFRPG will be in & will have plenty to go around.

Amazon orders are not charged until the item ships.

As much as I'd like to buy the actual book from Paizo or say a online gamestore, right now the amazon pricing fits my budget.

just wanted to say thank you for setting the pdf price at 9.99. I was hoping to get aboard the rules subscription, but right now it's not looking like I'll be in the clear by the time this comes out. I will however have the 10 bucks to get the rules.

If you want a regular mini-maker, then by all means get Reaper on board for Pathfinder. While Croc's minis are nice, just too much time passes in-between releases.

Reaper puts out what up to 10 releases every other week, while Croc puts out around 5 Pathfinder minis, what a quarter?? Even then they have a variety of items, from Dark Heaven Line to Warlord to Chronoscope. Now the pre-paint line has had it's bumps but that is due to not being in-house like 98% of their lines.

That kind of schedule kinda put me off from buying them. At first I was all for them, but the constant delays kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. I've yet to get the ogre releases & I've only gotten the wizard & paladin from the releases after that.

Whatever Pazio chooses for a mini line, please no random BS, if I want goblins I don't want to have to get 50 farmers just to get those goblins!! (yes I know about singles purchases, but why put out the product if you know it's gonna end up like that in the first place!!)

Got to thinkin (scary) & you might as well just add the iconic artists of D&D. It would be a neat idea to bring them all back into the fold. At least just once.

Easley thou I'd have to say his D&D/TSR heyday thou, his later artwork to me, kind of is a let down, & of course you couldn't get Parkinson, but Elmore, Clyde Caldwell (epically in the style of the D&D Basic rules Gazetteer covers. Jim Holloway would be awesome for goblin hi-jinks & the rest of the gang, damn that would be some works of art for me!!

Erol Otus was ok, but I never was much of a fan, his style did work for early D&D but I don't think so for today's. The artwork much like the game has a in your face feel to it & I Erol's simple style wouldn't fit.

I'm finding myself, going the pdf route with most rpg stuff now. I'm gonna be getting a laptop or netbook here shortly & I'm gonna slap all of my pdfs I have on there & start using that, so the pdf will be nice to have.

I gave in today & bought a new black ink cartridge for my printer but I still am gonna take the pdf up there, as I need to get other files printed off as well (one draw back of having just the pdf copy--need dead tree!!)

I'd like to see both. I don't mind the price right now (of course it had the pdflove sale but I think if a b&w & colored were in the same product I think the would really be a great bargain.

Just bought the pdfs this morning & I must say I'm impressed by the gnolls so far. Nice work N'Wah!!

One concern I have is the dark brown gnoll, when he prints up, how much of him will actually show. Looks like there might be bleed through with the dark brown & black.

Also any chance of a black & white (ie line-art) gnoll (or any set actually)so we may color them to whatever we need?

I'm gonna get these printed off at the local Staples (as my printer ink is dangerously low right now), but I was just concerned with that dark brown one.

Download the intructions last night (started the download but due to the downed pipe I just went to bed). All I can say is wow very awesome instructions. I've downloaded WW stuff before but nothig complicated (eventually I'll get the sailing ship).

Hopefully when the cash becomes available again I'll snag the actual product. Awesome work WW.

Also awesome that they've teamed up with Paizo, hope to see more wonderful creations in the future.

I agree about the previous APs. Would love to see Sandpoint & underneath it comes alive in 3D.

For people that live in the US, UPS option is worth the extra cost. As I've stated before when I was a superscriber, I had USPS as my shipping option. It took up to the days it said (10 I think) & I live only a state away from Paizo! (I live on the eastern side of Oregon)

I switched to UPS & the items came 3 days (thou 5 if they were released on a Weds due to no deliveries on weekends).

Well worth the cost & it was always nice to see the big brown truck out front as Paizo was about the only products I bought that used UPS, LOL.

I think with those 2 (along with the other 2) were the first iconics to come out for Paizo & deserve to be on the Rules cover. If there ever is a Rules II book, put the next group on that one.

As a fan of dwarves I must say I don't mind a dwarven ranger (played one in a FR campaign once) as the iconic.

Maybe a twist on the iconics in the future, how about the opposite sex iconics? (female fighter, female ranger,male paladin, etc etc).
